Hey guys...

I Looked around .. and there dosent seem to be a topic about this ..

so as it says .. my wife spilt blue powerade on her lap .. and it seeped onto the seats ...

I have the normal material seats ...

What have you guys used that worked ... I tried some cheap crap in a can .. and it didnt do much ... but make the stain bigger !

HELP !!!

I'd have it cleaned professionally as proper cleaners will have a machine that sucks that stain out rather than rubbing it in further, might cost abit but worth it!

Best thing to do would be to check the yellow pages!

just buy some seat covers instead.

I got a front + back set for $75 =)

Repco currently have a special and have a front + back set for $45 (mine look similar to that but with out the dragon/scorpion or whatever picture stitched into the seat is).

http://www.repcoshop.com.au/ASP/Catalogue/CatPage11.asp

Also i found that the particular seat covers i had absorb liquid quite well (it had some foam padding of some sort).

My gf also split some powerade on my seat covers (she didnt tighten the lid properly and left it in the car, left a mark about 20cm in diameter), but when i checked the actual seat, it was still DRY!

When you sell the car leave the seat covers on... the next owner will never know. LOL

I prefer these seat covers to the throw overs cos they actually stay and dont slide around.

you could try steam cleaning? ive never tried it but apparently that works well for getting rid of stains in material...

if that fails then your only other option is bucket seats...
