Leaking Brake Master Cylinder

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Ive just joined. I have now owned 5 Cruisers since 1994. Currently I have a 2006 100 series turbo diesel I bought new. Great vehicle as have been all the others. Mine has however developed a leak at the brake master cylinder coming from a boss on the bottom of the m/c. Inside the boss is a ball held in by the m/c aluminium body being swaged over the ball. I believe that the boss which is cast into the m/c body is used to drill a blind hole in the other side of the m/c intended not to come through the other side in manufacture. Has anybody had this problem?

Regards Robboscruiser
