hey people,

just having a look at xforce mufflers, one of my mates can get them fairly cheap...

just wondering your thoughts on this muffler:

x-force twin tip

Will i get any power gains? Any losses? What sort of noise will this sort of muffler make? the body is 5x8 with twin 3" tips... 3" sounds massive.. is that what most people tend to get or smaller?

i really dont know anything about mufflers, so please help me out!

thanks in advance!

I'm interested in these for the sportivo. single tip though. If it has a nice growl from 0 - 6,000rpm i'm happy. Lift is meant to be noisy :P

Actually I'm interested now. Anyone had these on a Sportivo?

I've heard a single tip magnaflow on a celica as well actually and it sounded rather hawt.

Been looking as well, you rekons get the 2.5" inlet and get all the piping upped to 2.5" should be the muts nuts??

We should go look together rob, and stop at subway on the way home...

You mean catback wise? Wasn't really going to bother with it for the time being. I wouldn't mind having an engine back option in the future though. There's a couple of guys at phillip that do mufflers. I was going to see them.

i have this one on my ascent sedan.. the sound is really nice not farty at all when cruising around but when i quickly accelerate at higher revs, between 4 and 6k it makes a bit of a raspy buzzing sound which is quite annoying..

I'm wondering whether they are a straight through or not.

Drone to an extent is fine with me. As long as it holds a nice note I'm happy at the end of the day.
