HI, my car was rear ended a few days ago. the rear bumper is smashed and the body is damaged as well near the spare tyre area . I am saving up for a body shop repair but i think if i can get the bumper off and use a mallet on it to straighten it up it would not look so bad. does anyone have a guide on how to remove the rear bumper. thanks

Would you like to know if it's repairable or how to remove it ?

If it's anything like the Aurion, you will need to remove the tail lights to gain access to some mounting screws. There are screws just inside the top section in the wheel well as well as across the bottom if memory serves me correctly. Also take a look inside the boot opening for more clips or screws.

If you plan to repair it, it could be possible to pop it out using a heat gun first to soften the plastic and carefully pushing the dented sections out. Find yourself some metal tools that kind of fit the inner shape to help guide the depressions back out.
