Hi

I have a 2008 Toyota RAV4 cruiser model. I have noticed the past few months that there is always a fuel smell when opening the back passenger side door. is this a common issue with the ravs? and does anyone know what it could be? NO Dashboard lights showing up either.

Thanks in advance

When refilling the petrol tank, you are supposed to stop after the 1st click. I have overfilled the tank and eventually got a fuel smell. I stopped overfilling the tank and after a few weeks, the petrol smell went away. Otherwise, I would be looking at possibly having to replace the charcoal canister.
