To all you Hybrid Rav 4 Owners
My Wife and I are in the process of looking for a new car for our growing family and obviously we are considering the well reviewed new Rav 4 hybrids.
We recently test drove a GXL at our local dealership and we both loved it however due to my wife having a unique sort of dyslexia, she is unable to read the odometer/speedometer due to the blue needles and blue colors on these screens.
The salesman at the dealer, as they do, tried to up sell us to the Rav 4 Cruiser AWD model in the hybrid which he assured us had a different screen that would allow you to change the colors so that my wife could drive it, however since these are such popular cars the dealership and others nearby don't have any stock we can't verify this claim. My wife and I are open to the idea of moving up to the Cruiser due to the extras but we don't won't order one only to have it turn up and find that my wife is unable to drive it safely.
So I would like to ask the community, if someone could please verify whether the odometer screens in the Rav 4 Cruiser AWD Hybrids can be customized to be a different color other than blue. If possible post a photo
My wife and I both thank you for taking the time to read this a post your feed back

Thank you

I've recently taken delivery of a 2020 Hybrid Cruiser AWD. It's an awesome car but have only managed to do about 250km in this lock down world. Looking forward to the time I can take it for a longer trip!

I've had a look through the manual and searched through the settings in the car but can't find anything around changing the colour of the display. You can change the colour of the car shown in the 360 degree camera view but I couldn't see anything around the odometer screen. The background colour changes if you put it into Eco mode or sport mode.

Where are you based? What state / suburb? If you're in Melbourne I know Preston Toyota have a hybrid cruiser demo. I'd be asking the dealer to show me that it can happen rather than rely on him saying so.

Also, you are able to change the display to be a digital speedo so it will show '60' rather than the dial like an analogue speedo.

cheers

Neil
