Cold start

Hi

Recently I've realised my 05 sportivo is doing something weird on cold start.

When you crank your key over. It start to rev to 2K rpm then quickly bog to 1000-1200rpm then slowly rise back to 1800K.

Sometimes it'll bogs down even more and sounds like it'll stall!!!!!

This is not normal isn't it? :(

Yeah mine does the same thing,

Jumps up to approx 2K the settles back down.

never almost stalling tho ;)

I reckon it sounds tuff :D

Does it shake on the cold start?

If so the coils may be loose, thats what happened to my mates corolla.

nar, it doesn't shakes but it sounds like its gonna stall then came back to life again. hard to explain, it looks like its gonna cut out then it rev back to 1800ish rmp again. strange

oh forgot to add, its running mega rich too on cold start. Is this normal??

mine did something similar to this... but not 2000 or 1800. only 800-1200. up and down. It was the A/C screwing around.
