Renting the strip @ the creek

Just sent this to the person responsible for looking after the track at eastern creek will let you know how it goes. If its reasonable for what we get any of u interstate boys keen on a drive to Sydney ;) ;) :D :D ?????

I am a member of a local car forum and a quiet a few of the members are really keen on performing some 1/4 mile passes and getting some times and statistics etc about their performance. I was on the website and i really could find anything which indicated that this was possible at eastern creek raceway but i imagine it should be possible. What i would like to know is the following:

What is on offer ?

How much does it cost ? Are there group booking discounts applicable ?

How much track time/how many 1/4 mile passes do we get for the cost mentioned above ?

Are there any special conditions that need to be met ?

Can the track be booked at anytime or is there designated times we must choose from ?

Other than the 1/4 mile pass times do the results show anything else e.g. 0-100 time ?

In renting the track does that mean we have exlcusive access or is it done in public during an event or with other members of the public/people also renting the track ?

and any other information that you could supply me with would be great as more and more members are getting keener as time goes on to perform some professional, legal testing on their vehicles.

You dont get a 0-100 time when you run a quarter....

You get things like reaction time.... your 60 foot time (for knowing how well you launched), quarter time and speed.

But i would be interested in driving down to sydney if work and school permit...

they should have some time alotted for test and tune pple? like just rock up for the day or something.

i know that willowbank raceway has them every sat and wed unless there a competion event. sometimes they have street series events where any car can rock up and compete. even have grudge races.

but that's in QLD :P
