Hi all, just joined here tonight. I don't know a great deal about Toyota's except the reputation. My daughter is looking at a 2002 Camry Altise auto. Just over 110k's with full service history. Very clean looking in the pics. We're going to have a look tomorrow and I'm wondering if there is anything in particular I should be paying attention to. Are there any faults common to this model. I know Toyota's are usually a pretty safe bet but it is still 18 years old. Asking $6700 with 6 months rego.
Thanks in advance for any help
Cheers Marneth

Low mileage vehicle but way overpriced. Good price for the seller but not for you as a buyer.

I use Redbook for its pricing guide.

I would be looking for previous repaired accident damage plus any obvious drive train noises. When you find a worthwhile vehicle, definitely get a vehicle history report and a mechanical inspection before buying.

It's that ridiculous "covid" tax idiots are using to justify overinflating the prices of cars. I wouldn't pay $6.5K for it, even if it had less kays. It's an 18 year old car.

Tell him he's dreamin'..
