Hi,

I am helping a friend flush their brake fluid on their 1998 hilux 2.7l, but noticed it has 2 brake fluid reservoirs. There is one master brake cylinder in the normal place to the left and then there is another just to it's right, below the placard.

Similar to the engine bay below.

What's the proper technique to flush the brake fluid for these systems? spacer.png

Are you sure the other reservoir isn't for the clutch ?

Is it a manual car ? Normally there is only one reservoir for the brake system.

Can you post up any pics ?

100% the clutch reservoir, some manual cars run separate reservoirs for the brake and clutch but some others combine them (obviously with separate master cylinders though) so even if you've worked on manual cars before it might look different

Thank you both! The other one is the clutch reservoir.
