I honestly said this:

"Awesome car, hate the power...there is none. I want the escort to drive everyday."

Then I decided to actually practice using the powerband and quickshift. Due to that I've embarrassed a fair few people in some little 'off the lights drags' lol. It's only a corolla huh? Yeah mate whatever...

Assessment Criteria 6

Knowledge of and proven commitment to Queensland Health’s policies relating to Anti-Discrimination, Workplace Health and Safety and ability to apply contemporary Human Resource practices.

As an employee of a large organisation such as Queensland Health and previously the Australian Taxation Office, I have become fully aware of Human Resource Management Issues such as:

• Workplace Health & Safety,

• Equal Opportunity Employment and

• Anti-Discrimination Guidelines.

I have completed induction programs for Queensland Health and the Australian Taxation Office as well as other large organisations such as Myer/Grace Brothers.

Throughout my employment with Queensland Health, I have also been involved with additional training for Cultural Awareness.

Within my role as Administrative Officer (Finance), while maintaining the Government Vehicle Fleet for Community Child Health, it was part of my duties to ensure that any incidents relating to the use of the vehicles are reported not only as early as practical, but also as effectively as possible.

These incidents could involve what may seem like minor incidents, such as ‘car park’ style incidents to major car accidents.

As an Administrative Officer with Community Child Health Service, I had also acted as the Regional Courier for the service, where I was required to complete the Q-Fleet ‘Think Safe-Drive Safe’ program, involving a theory based assessment as well as a practical driving assessment for the safe operation of Queensland Government motor vehicles.

The information and skills learnt from this program have been valuable as far as obtaining important information to the safe use of a motor vehicle.

Issues such as inspecting a vehicle for damage prior to use are highly important as performing these simple tasks could help prevent unnecessary accidents or incidents.

I am more than happy to follow these guidelines and standards maintained by Queensland Health, which are set out in the Code of Conduct, relating to these issues.

As a conscientious employee of the public service, I am always looking at endeavouring to further my knowledge on these issues.

Different govt departments construct their requirements for Selection Criteria in various manners. I work for Queensland Health and we usually have 5 - 7 criteria for each Job Description and the expectation is that you will meet the requirement for this criteria in approx one page.

Some areas of Queensland Government have 3 criteria and only want one or 2 paragraphs per criteria. While it sounds good, it is damn hard to fit it all in without speaking too much crap.

I just recently helped my sister-in-law do one for a govvy job in the UK and they have like 15 criteria....

The one I posted is a the OH&S, EEO one on 99.9% of Queensland Government jobs, and I have used that response for each govvy job I have applied for. I have also provided it to various family members and friends applying for jobs and it always works, up here at least...just changing the minor detail about history.

I can provide others on my last application in anyone wants to see the construction method used....

Felt - over the moon, I was upgrading from an AE82 with very little left in the way of brakes, clutch, shock absorbers, CV joints, life, etc. etc. Even the stock 7A-FE felt like a powerhouse.

First drive - my folks kindly picked up the car for me when I was working late and couldn't get up to Sydney in time. As soon as I got home (about 10pm), I picked up the keys and drove around town showing a few friends. I drove one mate home from the pub and he narrowly avoided spewing in it
