Hi Everyone,

Just had a cat-back exhaust fitted with a 2" pipe, new resonator and lukey muffler and dump pipe tip. Now when i drive it and come to a stop there is like a burning smell coming from under the car.

Is this normal at the start since when i look under the car everything looks fine. Nothing is also making contact with the underbody of the car either.Perhaps the muffler is close to the heat shield and maybe the same could be said about the resonator but not that much worse than the stock system.

Has anyone else who got a new cat-back experienced this and whether it is only at the start?

Thank you for your comments,

if there are laquers on the metal they will be baking off from the heat... nothing to worry about unless it does not stop after a few hunderd ks
