Hi guys,

Posting this thread here because its non toyota related.

The headunit in my Merc C-200k just stopped working yesterday.

I drove around with radio on, parked and turned car off as normal

Come back and the lights light up but no noise out of my speakers ..

alot of the functions were not working either i.e. I could not change to AM and I could not insert a CD.

Anyone experienced anything like this before? My car lights and engine etc all work still

Computing 101 turn it off and turn it on again.

Disconnect the battery rest everything and start again ...make sure you have the codes ;)

Computing 102 - Elimination of possible causes...

Power obvoiusly isn't the fault or it wouldn't turn on.

Earthing is also obviously OK, or see above.

How old is the unit. Is it real old, cause if so, maybe it's just pooped itself....

Computing 103 - Aaron is correct

It appears your headunit may have pooped itself.
