Shudder on take off

Hey all,

I recently had my clutch replaced and flywheel skimmed (1000kms) ago. I drive a 105 1Hz diesel.

since the work was done the car has a shudder on take off, generally the more revs I give it, the harder the shudder. Doesn’t do it in any other gear.

the mechanic wants to take the box out again.. which will cost $$$ I’m wondering if anyone has any advice or has experienced similar?

I wonder if they replaced the Spigot bearing/ bush with a new one in the back of the crank. If its a bearing and they didn't it could be flogged out and the main shaft of the gearbox isn't running true, that might be why he wants to take it back out again as he remembered he either left it out or he stumbled across the new one when the job was done.
