SRC Cruise- Sunday 16th July

Hey guys & girls im pretty new to the forum, so what better way to get to know you all by inviting you on a cruise with Sydney Rolla CLub below are the details-really hope to have as many rollas out nd about as possible

In celebration of FLYNSX hitting the pages of fast fours for its second time, thought it was only appropriate to organise a nice cruise, followed by a feed at the end.

Date: Sunday 16th July

Meet: P6 Carpark homebush

Time: 11am meet, 11.30 Depart

The destination is Patonga, about an hour-ish up the coast.

The route we will take- from P6 we will make our way to Old Pac, Berowra Exit, where the large truck stop is, here we will stop shortly for everyone to Regroup before we hit Old Pac. We are only going to do Old Pac until the 1st exit onto the F3 at Mooney Mooney(Hawkesbury). Then will continue along the F3 taking the Pacific Highway Exit Somersby, we will continue along until Woy Woy Rd and turn right, then bear right at Rawson RD, At the roundabout – we will take the 3rd exit onto Ocean Beach RD, follow along to the 3rd exit which is Sydney Ave. Which turns into Hobart Ave, then bear left at Mt Ettalong RD, following up and round some twisty roads we bear right along Patonga Dr, we will follow this all the way and will come into Patonga, we are going to go past the cricket ground and take the first left at Bay st- follow this st and we will come to Patonga Reserve, where we will let the Rolla’s Rest.

I thought that we would limit the old Pac run on the way up so we keep us together as much as possible, trust me guys the rest of the roads are just as good! Then on our departure I suggest doing the full run down Old Pac-which is up to the drivers on the day.

Once there we will get the BBQ started-

Sausage Sandwich $2.00

Drinks $1

The spot is great- a lot of parking and some great spots to get photos with water/beach background.

A few things bugging me:

1) When a new member comes on this forum and starts selling things on buy & sell the get banned right away. What happens when a new member comes on this forum and starts promoting other clubs cruises and in general promoting other clubs ie:

?????

2) We may not have many chicks on this forum but we are working on it. For a new member to start laughing at this is totally unacceptable. You are placing yourself above us already. WIth that kind of attitude i dont see why you are here.

3) When i hear "Twin Cam" or read "Twin Cam"....i associate this with ****box cars that have oversized mufflers that make more noise than anything else, that are driven by little hotshot teeny boppers on their P plates who always speed and do stupid things on the roads.....

or as i once saw in the villawood car park....pulling hand brakes and doing burnouts...trying to impress us...

all in all behaviour that resembles hoons....

Why should i go on a cruise with these type of ppl??

George there is nothing wrong with her promoting the SCR cruises here, they have in the past and will in the future. On the most part the SRC folk are alright. Toymods also promotes some if it's cruises here too so I don't know that the big deal is. I agree with you on the Twin Cam folk, but apparently the stupidity has died down a bit, but from what I saw when a few of them joined the Toymods Cruise to Robertson Pie shop... it still lingers... but again, that was just one in the group that ruined the day for a lot of the rest of us.

What is the difference from having 5 posts and selling an item on Buy & Sell and having 5 posts and promoting you club in basically all 5 posts????

i in no way think im "above" you i am on ur forums to try u nd bring some rollas 2gether for cruises & events nd if u dnt want 2 come on the cruise then no1 is makin u- im sorry but if u have a problem y splash it all ova a thread y not pm me- nd go hey i dnt think havin that as ur signature is appropriate........nd i will fix it- the reason its there is cuz i am a member of SRC nd i wanna be associated with them when i post for our cruises. SRC have neva had any problems with the members drivin stupidly as you have outlined- i truely wish you wouldnt stereotype us all like that......

I jst thought there may be some interest in here for other rolla drivers to get together.......sorry if ppl are offended....

Don't worry about it Bec, he misinterpretted your signature that's all.

We never said anything bad about SRC either, I like the SRC crew, it was the Twin Cam people that have the poorer rep, but that has died down some what now too...

OH my gosh i went shopping for a few hours and come back to find this..............hehehee

Bec is the cruise and events co-ordinator..............she is allowed to promote her cruises as we do too in various sites. I haven't seen any unappropriate behaviour on her part as yet. and about her signature she has taken of the link now. ALL IS GOOD....:D

sorry bec if everything was blown way out of proportion.........i really hope we can still meet u guys on sunday and try to get off to a better start.
