Hi,

As many people on this forum use ebay to purchase their car parts from overseas suppliers I was wondering when you pay via paypal do you use paypals exchange rates or your own banks exchange rates?

Which one is generally better?

Cheers

I bought some stuff via overseas and payed by Paypal.

Paypal follows bank rates however they lag behind about 2-4 weeks. So even though for example AU-US rates are 0.74 now paypal rates could be higher or lower than that value.

I normally use Paypal because of the convienience.
