I can't honestly say I've listened to one but I'v eheard that they're pretty much one of the best esp. Type R (Type S is a lil bit dodgy, Type X is a lil over the top n expensive, Type R is just right)

EDIT: And if u buy it n dont like it ur pretty likely to get ur money bak anyway if u sell it (as its Alpine dude)

O soz I must hav looked at the more expensive one in my catalogue (there was only a 700w and 1000w)

Up to you man... but if it was me I'd b a tight-a$$ n talk him down to like 600 or so + a few beers and buy it! :D :D :D
