the sad thing you need to take out the whole headlight. Most of the modern cars do it like this. :(

oh, and welcome to the TOCAU :) Enjoy ya stay :)

Shouldn't need to take out the whole headlight just to change the bulb man.

Has your misses still got her car manual? It should have instructions on how to change your parkers in there. B|tch of a job on the Corollas, not sure about the echos.

I'm assuming that the vehicle is a hatch, I'm not sure if the sedan uses the same method.

To replace the parkers, you will find the connector protruding from the back of the headlight assembly, to remove, rotate it Anti-clockwise.....I have to use an open-ended spanner to get enough leverage, the suckers are HARD to turn.

If you're not sure which way to turn, the fitting is of a bayonette type and you can see the keyway and its coresponding "Opening" when looking through the front lens ...just turn the key in the direction of the opening.

Chrome Grill:

I have seen a listing for one at this site: http://www.ozeparts.com.au/

I have a 2001 Echo Sportivo 3 Door and when I use those details to search for parts, they have a Chrome grill listed.
