Everyone who has modded there car with Quick Shifter (i assume that is in relation to changing gears lol) has it had any effect on changing from 1st to 2nd at 8k? Cause my car makes a rough crunch noise when i change from 1st to 2nd in that rev range.

Or would i have to change the clutch and flywheel and if anyone has done it, how much did they pay ?

the parts are about 1200 and labour is around 600.

hoep i'm not jinxing myself here but since i got the bits, i haven't experienced that sticking and crunching. apart from when its cold i still sorta feel that i'm brushing past something metallic when shifting. but its all only in the first 5mins when all is warming up

with my experience.

I was told that if your gear selector cables are tight, you will get some of this feedback

With my custom headers on i had to raise my gear selector cables above the headers.

Thus making them tighter, so the gear changes need more effort to slip in.

Could this be the problem for you sportivo people?

i get the same crunching and grinding feeling when changing gears from 1-->2-->3

i haven't told my dealer about any of my problems though.

i'll tell them when i get back from Darwin

yeh same here. i get a crunch when changin from 1-2, but not 2-3 though. also, the car jerks quite a bit for 1-2. might be due to my shifting :(

The dealer put cable ties in my Stivo to lift one of the selctor cables away from the exhaust heat shield and the other cable. It solved the rattle for about 6000kms but i recently heard some rattles during shifting at high revs. I also suspect the cable ties might have caused the "Sticky/Locking-up" shifting feel.

Another great possibility is the tranny oil or gearbox lube. It probably needs something of lower viscosity or better quality.
