Overtightening those nuts is not always the best thing to do. It can sometimes damage the thread. Did you end up checking the engine mounts?

I just rang another exhaust shop and he goes to me 2" is more than enough. So, I am definitely not going there. :-/ But based on everyone's feedback I am convinced that 2.5" is the way to go. Hmmm...apart from Xforce what would be some good mufflers on the market? Anyone can share some of their own experience please? However, price wise boys I also want to know whether I am not being ripped off...is the price he is asking for reasonable or not? Guni & Jaderd - Which exhaust shop you got yours done? How much did he charge you?

Hello Guys, I am currently looking at putting a full exhaust system in my car and I rang the one who previously did mine on the Conquest @ AutoXcess Performance. Anyways to cut the story short he offered me the following: (1) 2.25" cat back mandrel bends with X-force twinloop (S-12) installed for $600 in mild steel. (2) with 4-2-1 headers an extra $400. (3) about 1500 if I want the varex :-/ I had the 2nd option in all stainless steel for $1000 and now he is offering me the same set-up in mild steel for the same price. Anyways, I asked how come then he said oh it is because price of steel went up and blah blah blah. I am thinking it is quite dear what he is asking for....anyone got any advice for me?

Last november, I paid $100 to colour code my 4 mudflaps, grille and eyelids. No wonder Victoria Is The Place to be. :P LOL

I would say take your car to the closest mechanic and check all your engine mounts...I had the same problem sometime ago...except it was spotted by coincidence. I thought the vibrations were normal but when it was fixed god it felt much better.

Here is the list of mods I have in mind for my car at the moment: 1. The inevitable door sills - done 2. 6000k HID low beams - done 3. Gear shifter bushing kit- done 4. CES CAI- should be in this weekend 5. TRD Sway Bar - On its way 6. Full Exhaust System - In a couple of weeks time. I really like the sound and fancyness of the varex. But I like the twinloop as well. So still undecided. 7. Ported Headers - Will be done when I will do the exhaust. Hopefully BKS will lend me his spare one. :P lol 8. Greddy Piggyback - Already have it but I want to put some mods on before chucking it on and have a "pre-liminary" tune 9. Sandblast and Powder Coat Wheels & Lower Car on King Springs - I am thinking about choosing gun metal grey as the colour 10. Hello Everyone, It has been a few months now since I bought a 2005 facelift corolla sportivo after my 2002 white conquest has been declared as an uneconomical repair. Since I joined this forum, I must admit I am addicted in modding my car. :-( It has become one of my favorite hobby (along with soccer). :) Anyways, before going into more details, I have attached some pics of the car before anything is added or even is going to be added to it.
