I will be coming out of semi retirement and a HOT date to make it there this week ppl's. The car will be nice and clean as it gets some work done to it this thursday @ lexus ;) Till then my precious's :D Oh and big thx go out to G-money and J-man for the install work last night .... I LOVE IT!!!
As Briony commented its axle tramp and is fairy harsh on the front end of the car :( if you have more mid range power it fixes that issue.....and you dont get a chirp of the tyres...you just hear a sliding sound like when you spin in the wet...and then you OFF!!!!!! ;) sportiv is learning the ropes ;)
Can we please have a show of hands for the next Brisbane Cruise? The last 2 we have had were both great days. The first being a 'casual' cruise over mount nebo and glorious with lunch and lots of photos. Whilst the second one was a 'leasurly' run through the gold goast hinterland and over to Mt Tambourine. Seeing as how it is Summer. I was thinking a cruise and then a BBQ at someones place to finish off the day? (Kyle/Greg/Brendan I'm looking in your directions) As far as dates are concerned I would like to do this late Febuary or early March OPEN! :D
um if the lancers continue to take up the car park then basically tell them to p!55 off. As it is My companies car park and they are not permitted to go in there unless given prior concent. If someone could tell them that (ELENIS) that would be great. If they continue to come in uninvited then we will have to implement further measures ;) This meeting area was organised by me for the sole purpose of the corolla club. So that we can get away from all the ****3rs that continue to make noise and issues at the Milton McDonalds. Can anyone get a length of chain to close off the gate? this will surely stop anyone from coming in uninvited If you have any issues tonight can someone please call me and I will comedown to sort things out!
http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...p?showtopic=663 above link to the 'pinned' parts list section at the top of the corolla forum ;) Martin, if it fits good luck ;)
Due to the change of the schedule this year and the price, it has turned alot of people off.
I am in another club TCCA-Q (Toyota Car CLub Australia - Queensland) and a few people are going down to tamworth to go .
But from what we have heard the club running it this year could not organise the track evets due to liabilities etc? So now it is basically a Nav run and a show 'n'shine. No 1/8 mile drags this year of curcuit race :(
I'm still deceiding whether I want to go or not
I have a similar effect in my divers side window. although once the tint was put on you cant really see it now :( initially I was very unimpressed as were you by the sounds.
Just remember common sence peoples when driving in the wet! increase your stopping distance. avaoid puddles and slow down. and if the water looks deep .......DONT GO THROUGH IT!!!!!
azza, my clutch friction point was moved but the pedal itself remained the same hieght. It takes people a bit of getting used to ie. northy, sportiv, wei wei have all commented on it.
the only think I dont like about those lights is the bulge that they have near the top....i would like to keep it clean and smooth like it curently is. hence why I'm waiting for the ones from Burg
One of the chaps over at TOC has done up a guide on how to do the radio and other bits with red leds. Go over and check it out if your super keen to do the radio ;) another one is here -> changing led's you will need to translate this as its german ;)
I would like to do a similar thing. I know a few people have pulled apart their lights (pulsars commodores etc.) and used a tint which is available in a spay can???? I havent looked into this quite yet as I am still waiting on pics of some new tails lights which are coming out soon. If they are anyhing like the current dark lights I will be going down this track ;)
