lane toyota are VERY POOR. old and cramped workshop, poorly trained staff, useless mechanics, tell lies, inaccurate invoices. There are no decent Toyota dealers in Western Australia... they are all crooks and dont give a damn about you after you have purchased a car. Very poor service from all dealers that I have been to in WA Also... deepest sympathy for your car man :( Im sure everything will work out though! You had one of the nicest rollas here as well.

Overall the show wasnt too bad, I went both Saturday and Sunday, Sunday was much more packed with more of the general public coming in for a day out where as Saturday had most of the car enthusiasts themselves. Thats what I felt anyways. Nice cars, Shogun getting most of the attention of course (the yellow and blue honda civic), it had 2 dancers either side for christs sake and it was in front of the main stage ! It put out 79kw at the front wheel, its an automatic and its got turbo. I didnt stick around for the hopper on sunday, I watched it on saturday and that was annoying enough, the guy was arrogant, talked and talked, then let the photographer take photos with models and the hopper... keeping us all waiting... then I captured the only hops that thing did before something gave way, from what I heard it happened last year as well. If anyone wants larger photos of the thumbnails about just reply in this topic asking for them, I have very large photos of all the above. Feedback would be nice too. :) BTW - As soon as I find a way to upload a 3 meg video of the hopper il edit this topic with it.

These 2002 corolla photos have a link to a bigger picture of each thumbnail, it won best toyota at the perth salon last year.

Im assuming you have had 18's and 17's on your rolla. Why do you want to go back down to 16 may I ask?

Well good on you man! Its great to see someone finally not bitching about how they want bigger BOV's or some little performance thing like that... the only thing that I can see you guys complaining about is the car drifting around corners Its honestly a great job! Have you had any training or anything on car mechanics before? Maybe you could put red spray painted speed stripes down the side next...

Thats great! You must have had some serious fun putting that car together! Sounds great I reckon!!!! The number plate makes the car though.... Excellent idea for truelly 'finding out how to do stuff', I would love to do something like that personally. Is the car roadworthy though?

I live in perth and have been trying to get into a club somewhere too. Best bet is either cruising around freo until you see a bunch of cars together Or Going to www.all-torque.com and looking around at the links they have to offer. www.perthperformance.com is starting to become my regular stop off.

Your lucky, I would take it easy if I were you, Id be clinging onto those points as hard as I could. :D I cling onto my 12 remaining points as it is What was the complicated question that they asked or you answered or whatever? Its in AUD. Costs around the same as the carzone specials kit that I was looking at.

From the price list I also see the muffler and suspension. What are you guys opinions on both the toyota muffler and suspension? I would really love to keep as much as possible to Toyota standards so I dont mind paying extra just for the name, but are they quality goods and does the Toyota suspension lower the car much or hardly anything? And is the muffler like a whistle or like a hoover? BTW thanks for the great info orrock

I have a 2003 Corolla Ascent, im wondering if any of you guys know how much it will cost to get the official sportivo body kit from toyota? Im on about the side skirts, rear skirt and front skirt. I have the grill already. Just wondering if any of you know how much it will cost, Toyota seem pretty useless in my area (WA) for helping out with anything at all.... getting a price from them is like trying to flog a dead horse.

It costs $41,402.91 in Australian dollars.... not too bad considering everything its got in it is well worth over that price.

Wow!!! That looks beautifull! I might have to consider trying to get that bodykit made up for me... :P The multimedia system is great as well! Although im not so sure on the 15' sub, plenty slow enough, two 12' would have been better. Amazingly done though. I dont know much about performance wise but as for looks wise... its the best looking corolla ive seen as of yet.

So how much do shocks cost to replace? Is it worth buying shocks and suspension all together at the same time? I was looking to get some kingsprings but now im a little unsure! I just hope my 17' wont raise my car too much if the shocks wear down after 20,000... thats terrible! Also, is there a legal aspect to lowering? Can your car be too low? (legally)

Looks kinda like the stock Sportivo rims, don't you think? I have an ascent so im sorta going for a sportivo look, but the wheels will be chrome... so a little bit different :)

Im getting this CSA wheel in chrome, and 17' of course... Il post a pic of my car when ive got them on sometime during early April

Just went to tire power pro and they are gonna fit me 4 chrome csa (dominator) wheels on 8th April. New tyres with it as well, not sure what they are gonna put, I left that up to them. total cost is $2100 and im not paying for labour on top of it. I asked him straight out of they were illegal or legal and he confirmed that everything was above board. Thanks for the help though guys! Il post pics when they are fitted, after that il be getting a carzone special body kit, custom made though so I can have a better exhaust than what comes with the current kit.
