I live in Perth, However.. The panel beaters that I got that quote off are doing work on my car right now by fitting a painting a sportivo kit. Toyota themselves are using them. So chances are that they overcharge one hell of a lot... which is believable considering they are charging me $1000 to fit, paint and do a few electric things to the car... <_< I know its a rip off... but I wanted the job done properly and by toyota. My guess is that if I go to any other panel beater that doesnt overcharge, then il be quoted $200 for the whole job. I have a metallic blue car (cascade blue) and im having a charcoal grey sportivo kit (including rear spoiler) fitted.... my *** ive got my fingers crossed hoping that it will look good and not totally retarded. Will look similar to someones sportivo on here... apart from they have gunmetal side skirts and front skirt... when I have skirts all around and the roof spoiler. :)

Ive got two dents that sound exactly like yours. One on each door... been quoted $200 each door..... total rip off price if you ask me. Im gonna have to ask around to get a better price.

breaking the speed limit and driving like a f@#$% idiot are two different things... Everyone breaks the speed limit... of course they do.... even the nans and pops out there. Driving like an idiot is going 180km on what cannot be a safe road... The only half safe place to do that is on a drag strip. I agree with secasx Celica owners normally drive well, they care about there car and treat them well usually... its the idiots who thrash their car around and find out they need an engine replacement because of it that I dont like... (er... thats not at all related to the guy whose engine went either... that was toyotas fault.. but ive heard of corollas having to have the whole front end rebuilt because of wreckless driving)

Exactly the same as me. I have an alpine M420 amp and it fits under the passanger seat like it was just meant to be there. The only bad thing is remember not to carry your girlfriends sister in the back with dirty feet after she has been horseriding.... :( My amp was a little dirty to say the least.

Say that you won lotto, and loved your corolla so much that you wanted to make it the best damn rolla there is. What would you do to enhance the performance and looks out of your baby? (basically your ultimate corolla upgrades) No-one can say 'PK's stivo' either...

Im sure they wont give a rats ***** about a little club that has the toyota logo on it, we wont make major profits, nor will we become an organisation, so the chances of toyota even seeing it are almost slim to nil. If they do see and and complain, just say that you made it on a computer and printed it out... theres no big deal as long as no-one is selling them for a profit of big bucks that will see toyota out of business.... then again.... ATOC is becoming popular...

good to hear you have a good dealer but do you have lock nuts? i do not think so from your picture. nearly every dealer that sells a package will have lock nuts and especially from chrome wheels. did you request 215-40 ? 205-45 is a typically a truer match for your speedometer. I have locknuts. ;) The tyre size was reccomended by toyota, .... he rang them up in front of me and thats why they recommended.

I am feeling absolutly every bump at the moment... yes that is true. But the smooth handeling of the car has improved so much that its nothing to complain about. I think I struck it lucky with this dealer as he really has treated me incredibly well. The dealer clearly did his research into what he needed specifically for the corolla. No doubts about that, that is why im trusting him with fitting my suspension to lower the car.

Yeah, probably made in South Africa. Whilst the chrome may be heavier, the low profile tyres even out the handling, so it actually feels much better to drive and has a much better take off than before. Need to go back on Saturday to get the wheels rebalanced. I think one of the weights that balances out the wheels has fallen off by accident. The steering wheel vibrates pretty harshly now... but its gonna be fixed up easily so im not too bothered

Lol dude, your asking about getting an exhaust tip for your ascent and getting sportivo kits for your ascent and here you are bagging out ricers. :D Dont you love a hypocryte? (sp?) Nah, I want to get the sportivo skirts for my car, and lower it. Im trying to pretty much learn about exhausts and etc. since I really dont know anything about them. Thats all. I am a bit of a Ricer il admit, not so much that I want to get neons all around my car and put NOS stickers all over it though.

:( But... But... But.... I sorta have a blue car..... E-Gene - I have never been a fan either, these wheels just seemed to be different though, they dont have the tacky look that the majority of over done rice.. I mean... Chrome wheels do.

Around the $2000 mark Tyres... I honestly dont know what make they are, I let paul (my wheel guy) throw some decent ones on that gave me a bit of a discount. They say 'super steel' and 'federal' on the actual tyre.... meh... they look great and feel great to drive on so im not that fussy.

Just got these put on today :D Im very happy with them, Im gonna put king springs on them when I save up a bit more cash, so untill then it can look like im driving a 4 x 4 The wheels are CSA dominators in chrome, the tyres are federal (super steel) ? Click the pics for a bigger picture. Im very happy with the outcome.... changes the way the rolla drives so much.

Thanks so much for the info. I am still learning about different things and I cant thank you enough for answering all my amature questions. :D I would make it... but im in Western Australia... so driving all that way may be a bit of a waste I would like a loud sound when I accelerate mainly. Is it best to replace the whole exhaust with one main brand / system? Ok, so I see cars going around with massive mufflers and etc. making a load of noise. I'm not looking to make my rolla perform well... so keep that in mind. I want to get a large exhaust tip or something that looks good and makes the car sound a little louder. What do I need to buy? A muffler? An exhaust tip? I really have no idea. What are the benifits of having a larger exhaust ending...? Are there any particular models that look and sound good? Bare in mind I have a corolla Ascent. Im looking to slap the sportivo skirts on the Ascent soon and possibly lower it, but after the skirts go on im looking at having the exhaust tip be different. A little help people?

What did they say it was? It almost feels like the syncros have **** themselves. Hope it's nothing major... It took his stivo to clap out before they took it seriously.

That purple tank NOS kit is made by ZEX, and YES NOS is an actual make.. theres also nitrous express (NX), and a couple of others.. http://xspeed.dreamhost.com/catalog/produc...products_id=282 xspeed seems to carry and install these systems but like Skitzo said, it might be illegal to have such.. but if you still want to go ahead, give em a call and see what the say :D Thats the one... I honestly couldnt remember the name. Doesnt Nitrous to quite a bit of harm to your car? I dont know but I would have thought it could screw something up....

Why does this board seem to collect all the ricers? "NOS" is illegal in street cars... stupid to use on street cars and should be kept strictly to the tracks. NOS is also a brand name... so by asking what price for a NOS kit then you will get one answer... Nitrous Oxide has a few manufacturers... this new one that has a purple tank seems to be a little more popular than the NOS brand at the moment.. cant remember what its called right now though. Id go against getting Nitrous boost in a street car... no matter what car it is. Xorst is a slang term for Exhaust. I am a ricer... but I dont believe in doing illegal and stupid things that potentially can cost lives.

Steady on there.... the NISM sticker on his toyota may give him enough KW's for the time being.... :D On a similar note.. im wondering if there is a gauge that can tell me how hard I push my foot down on the accelerator... you know... so I get a few more KW's outta it....

Anyone have any ideas what Dual-Exhaust system would be good to get for an ascent? If anyone has any links they can post with prices and all it would be appreciated.
