  2. Hey all, just bought a set of rims and i had to buy a new set of wheel nuts ended up buying these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=120465272999 See initially i thought that the key shown in the picture in the eBay link would just fit into my wheel spanner but it doesn't its to small. its size 19 and the wheel spanner is size 21 my only concern is if i get a flat tyre. what should i do?? Get a new key? New wheel spanner that fits the key? carry around a ratchet and the correct fitting? Cheers any advice is appreciated Thanks in advance

  4. After 4 of the following tyres 235/45/r18 or 245/40/r18 Tyres Needs to be SYD Cheers
  5. thanks for the answer, for some reason i thought the ATX had tyres 215/65/r16 but now have changed the first post Cheers
  6. Hey all, Ok so basically i have an ATX with 16" alloy's I recently bought a pair of 18" rims with tyres 235/40/R18 From that tyre size calculator this is what is says When your speedo reads 100km/hr you're actually at 93.69 km/hr is this to big of a difference? also i have just realised (correct me if i am wrong) but in terms of stock wheel circumference the ATX has the biggest? And one more question Is there any difference between 235/50/R18 and 235/40/R20 wheels they basically have the same rolling circumference give or take a few CM so the spedo be very accurate? i read a few posts on the forum and some people have said on stock aurion get 18" or 19" rims but i can see the difference between bigger rim lower profile and smaller rim bigger profile?? any finally Whats the deal with the spare tyre?, since i am aiming to get a very similar rolling circumference i assume if i get a flat i can use the spare as i normally would. but what about all those pepople who have much larger circumference can they just stick on the spare aswell?? thanks in advance Cheers
  7. this is the way i did it. open up the bonnet take that black plastic reach down and unclip the grill Hi there... stedyedy...think you are talking about the top grill. ApBPaul...here's how I did mine. 1) Crawl underneath the car and unscrew the two plastic panels under the engine. There's approx 5-6 screws in each and about 3-4 plastic clips which push in (use a screwdriver to pry them out). 2) Once the guards are away, reach in and unclip the 6-8 clips holding the lower part of the lower grill in place. They should pull straight back, but you may need a flat bladed screwdriver for a couple of them. 3) Whilst holding the bottom section out, work out the clips on top of the lower grill. Again you may need a flat bladed screwdriver to help you here. 4) Once all clips undone, simply lower and turn the grill to manoeuvre it out the bottom under the front spoiler. For meshing, I simply took my time and measured and trimmed by placing the mesh on top and working away at it. You can cable tie the mesh to the lower grill without drilling any holes and it will end up looking really neat. Any rough edges and cable ties will generally be hidden around the edge of the lower grill which gets tucked up behind the spoiler when in place. Hope this all makes sense. Here's what mine looked like. Happy meshing...show us how it turns out. Cheers Michael Hey, nah i am talking about the bottom grill i took a short cut tho you reach down past the top grill to the bottom grill and you can slip it out, much eaiser than taking the whole bottom bit off Cheers

  9. So I guess that makes the Presara more of a mid size sedan with features normally found on high end executive cars (Not that it's bad thing.). Yeah, seeing that the Aurion & Thai Camry share the same body & interior, I can't see why Toyota Australia wouldn't offer more accessories from Thailand (They have things like HUD, Extra wood trim, body kit, Wood/ leather gear knob & etc.). In the South East Asian markets, manufacturers (Particularly the Japanese.) offer all sorts of Genuine Accessories. The list is almost as long or the same as what you'll find in the JDM market. Wish it was the same with the rest of the range too. The clear taillights & headlights of the Thai Camry Hybrid has a very light blue tint on the housing. Notice the red bit on the inner tail light, those are rear fog lights. MY10 Aurion Sportivo owners could always exchange their smoked clear taillights with the Thai Camry owners and give it a light smoke tint. :) wow i really like the look of these!!, would these fit on a ATX? Cheers
  10. Just did mine Didn't like how see thought it was so stuck some extra black mesh behind it! also had to re-zip tie the mesh on the back to stretch out the plastic so it gets rid of the gap between the bonnet and the grill any of you others have to do that??
  11. here you go mate, this should do the trick http://shop.ebay.com.au/?_from=R40&_tr...rion+tail+light
  12. hey thanks for the reply, o well looks like i'll just stick to stock for now Cheers
  13. instead of getting HIDs, is it possible to just get a more powerful globe for the aurion which has a whitish/blue tinge? Cheers
  14. ok great, thanks for the head up mate Cheers
  15. Hey peps, what are your thoughts on these http://cgi.ebay.com.au/HID-Xenon-Conversio...alenotsupported Thinking of going for HIDS but does this just seem to cheap. Cheers
  16. Let us know how the speakers go, you going to do all 6? I'm eager to get an amplifier put in but that will have to wait a bit unfortunately. Very keen to hear your results though! Also the HID installation, how much did you pay for that? I wanted to install HIDs on my car though unfortunately, I don't want any insurance repercussions in case i get in an accident because of the illegal nature of retrofits. Yeah the set up I will be running will be: front: eclipse SC6900 6" x 9" 2 WAY DRIVER WITH 1" SILK TWEETER & Dynamat through the front door panel rear: SP6910 6 x 9" 2- WAY POINT SOURCE SPEAKER & double dynamating on both the plastic and metal part of the rear shelf to minimize vibration buzz still tossing up on if i want to go with a amp, will mean a extra few hundred bucks... The HID kit was acctually a phillips 6000k HID kit.. supplied and fitted by Rob at Volatile Customs here in Perth. Rob is a top guy and the quality of his installations are awsome! Ive attached a few pics, its hard to get a clear shot of where he mounted the balasts, as his also covered them in some sort of padding? (perhaps heat shield?? ). I ended up going for thr 6000k as well as changing my parker lights, was originally wanting to go with the 5000k but im glad i went 6000, looks sweeet!! hey mate, sweet job there, just wondering how much did it cost you all up for the HID's and installation
  17. hey thanks, just gave em a buzz and they said 96bux, o well better than the 100+. i wonder if they didn't charge you GST or something, or maybe it just really inflated... Cheers
  18. what a great, price, wouldn't happen to have the receipt by any chance? Cheers
  19. i just gave the dealer a call they said $101.10, but then they said they will match your price Cheers
  20. cheers, thanks for the replies, wow i can't believe the Toyota dealer is cheaper, doesn't seem to make any sense, o well I'll be giving them a call tomorrow
