But hey it's about time that a company made these parts for us because that is the only thing holding us back!!

Please note guys i am NOT benifitting or advertising this personally for myself as these parts will be seen by anyone who reads AUTOSALON MAGHAZINE'S latest issue i have just had the luxury to see this issue alittle early same as a normal subscriber to there mag will.....My post is just to inform the TOCA community about this as we all know just how many companies in the world are making any serious performance parts for our cars unless its a custom job!!!! :P You cant get this kind of gear through TRD or HKS can you now!!

Dylan i will ask the guys and see if they can provide me with technical specs on these valves etc... :) I will try and post this info up. Basically in their range of valves they are an enhanced version of EV8 (214N) Stainless Steel for all you Metallurgists out there :P For both the Inlets and Exhaust valves and they use different heat treatments and metall alloys to harden the tips and seats for different applications if necessary. They are "Black nitrided" which is a hardening treatment, with this type of treatment to the valves it creates a smoother finish than a chrome type stems which therefore produces less friction between the valve stem and the guides. These type of coatings can handle lead free fuels, alcohols, nitro fuels or any other "explosive fuel mixtures". This finish has been very much suited to high reving japanese and european performance engines by reducing power-loss due to excessive internal engine friction. All valves are swirl polished, have undercut stems and hardened tips....Blah blahhh blahhh But hey that was your info on valve coatings for the day Just wait till i get you some comparitive specs if i can legally show them!! ???

Hey guys if anyone is looking at up-grading their Pistons and Valve train components they are now available for our engines!! These parts are from the company called "SUPERTECH" they are from the U.S basically these have got to be one of the best brands of pistons and valve train components around!! much better than some of the other popular brands that make 4cyl performance pistons and valve train components etc... They will also make custom pistons and valves to suit any application. These pistons and valve train components are being used in some of the TOP race cars and drag cars here in OZ and around the world!! Check out an add that i just saw in the latest edition of AUTOSALON MAGAZINE!!! :)

Mate that is your coolant (TOYOTA long life red) as for for the idle problem i cant see it being much of a problem unless because of the coolant leaking have you noticed that your car has been running unusually hotter than normal??

Lets sum it up: 1) If we want to tune our cars to get the best out of new mods = "All we have is a dyno to use". 2) If we want a power read out or to gauge what our cars are doing since mods have been done = "All we have is a dyno to use..BUT... There are way too many (variables) that come into play; If you are to take this figure seriously and to state MY CAR IS PUTTING OUT XXX KW on the dyno...Your kind of kidding yourself! Especially when getting mods and tunning done at some dodgey work shops they have been known to tweek the settings on the dyno's to give a better than normal readings so that it makes their work look better....ETC...ETC...ETC..... The variables roll on temp, humidity, wheel diametre, tyre pressure, if it is a leap year and if it was a full moon the night before you have dynoed blaaah bllaahhh. 3) If you wanna play DYNO KING AND QUEENS = Save your money get your block pulled out after doing all the mods you are planning and get it "ENGINE DYNOED"!!!! WHO GIVES 2 PIECES OF SH17 WHAT KIND OF KW ARE BEING PUT OUT ON A CAR SIZED TREADMILL GET EM ON THE TRACK AND BENCH MARK AGAINST SOMETHING YOU KNOW IS QUICKER THAN YOUR CAR!! :D :P THEN YOU CAN SAY YOUR CAR IS BETTER OR WORSE :D :D lovin the new smilies!!!

nahh man no cigi lighter just run it all off the same power + line and hard wired onto the battery it is only the PS2 that must run off the inverter as it is the only accessory that is 240volts

Yeah for sure mate i have 1 indash monitor and 1 roof mount in my car, you can run the monitors and PS2 off the inverter which i have mounted under the dash of the passengers side and i have "Hard-wired" the system to the battery this way u can have it running without having the car on! :)

The ABSOLUTE DUMBEST thing is the fact that when u see alot of the "new" cars advertised and i remember this when i bought my car brand spanking new from TOYOTA the wording was "would you like to opt for FACTORY DRIVING LIGHTS"!!!!!! Not ever were they known as "foglights" if they were actual FOG LIGHTS wouldnt they be "YELLOW".....So in actual fact why cant we drive with our "driving" lights on it is not bright enough and at a level that may cause on coming trafic to be blinded the laws on what is and isnt defectable are just a load of horse Sh17....Why dont they make up a list of things that are a defect in EVERY state in Australia and print it in like a RTA handbook or make it part of your insurance that says "if you live in this state you must comply with these laws regarding modifying"!! Man soon it just goin to be like America where every state has different laws regarding emissions, engine modifications etc..... Its all a big Joke!! :P

They look like they have just only been sprayed with tint you can see in the pic how mat and patchy the lenses are and to add they look like they have been spray tinted on the outside as well, i mean if you are goin to resort to spray-on tint open her up and do it from the inside They dont look like a smoked lense at all....

Well guys i think i should just post up a warning for all of you guys planning to go for a cruise tomorrow night!! Go luck trying to go into the city and becareful in general especially with such a large number of cars in one group it is just one BIG easy to pull over target!! The POliCe as of last weekend have started "OPERATION TORQUE" this is targeting all P-platers and drivers of modified cars and its looks as though they will be trialing this blitz on weekends for a few weeks to months "EVERY_WEEKEND" i think to see if it raises some seriously good revenue!!! SO BE CAREFUL!!! AND PLAN THE CRUISE OUT WELL!!! BEFORE PEOPLE GET DEFECTED OR LOSE THEIR LICENSE AND GET THE SH!7S!! This info was passed onto us by friends that are police etc...... :)
