  2. Yeah definately bill we have decided NO barbie dolls just DUBCITY and HOTWHEELS for her and i think im gonna have to build a mini Rolla for her with an electric motor instead of a bike!!!!
  3. thats why aftermarket HID kits are a defect to be able to use them legally u need "self-leveling head lights" and you also need to have "head light washers" well that basically cancels out most cars unless you have a BMW or Accord Euro or sumthing like that!! :P
  4. WELL.....WELL......WELL.......That's why we hav'nt heard from you much Craig ^_^ !!! CONGRATS MATE!!! :D :D !!!!! 5. Well i had a mate that did this convo b4 but the main problem is due to the location of the engine mounts and the power that was produced from this block it kept braking mounts after afew times of strengthening the mounts it got too much and the stock block went back in the 2zz-ge was sold and he bought a S15.......The other problems was the traction and brakes!!! It was fun while it lasted though!!
  6. well guys i must also jump in and say this: It's not just about how cheap a kit is........I have sold many different brands and all have had different pros and cons and the main reason that kits go wrong have been in my experience the people that are the suppliers that bring them into OZ!!! The reason i say this is that i have had some problems where the suppliers buy in bulk the ballasts, bulbs and wires it is then their job to put it in its correct packaging and put the right stickers on the parts because unless u know what to look for the following brands that i mention will all look the same etc.....But when u have some suppliers that have more than one brand that they stock they have been known to mix up bulbs with kits and then you get kits that stuff up or blow or even kits where u get a 8000k bulb and a 5000k bulb and it looks wonky!!! I purchased a TECHONE HID kit when the whole HID conversion kit idea became available and it cost me $680 dollars and i sold them for later for $350, i have still have the same kit on my car for nearly 4years now no probs!! But i have sold GT HID, ENON, MASSCA, TECHONE and the list goes on and its a case of luck of the draw u can get one that lasts for 3months or one like mine that hasnt had a problem *Touch Wood* :P But hey what can you do!! lol!! I will NEVER go back to normal bulbs ever again after having HID'S!! :D i have a mate that installs HID kits so if needed PM me!! :D
  7. Man this sucks i only just started a new job recently i would have loved to have taken the rice-bubble down to race some mazdas!!!! DAMN IT!!!! <_< :( :D :P
  8. Yes ill be there and i'll bring the missus along!!
  9. Becarful romp by the sounds of things you havnt earthed it off properly mate!! Dun get zapped get it checked and this goes out to EVERYONE buying HID kits made in CHINA get it checked by a qualified auto electrician!! As i have come across a few that are on the dodgey sound and arnt soldered properly and have the potiential to electricute you if you dun know what your doin!! And the worst case u just may short out your ECU becuase of the power-surge!!!!
  10. It actually looks quite allot like the EK civic wide-body "COMBAT" kit!!! Especially from the rea to the front doors.....
  11. Sorry to hear the bad news dennis lets track the ***** down and run them over in their own car!!!! Man thats crap!! WHAT.... they cant even leave one of those pathetic notes on your windscreen, written a maccas napkin that says!!! "SORRY I BUMPED YOUR CAR"!!!!??? <_< ABSOLUTE PR1CK5!!!
  12. We tested 1 of those 2 years ago the plastic pannel in front has to go for the first thing!!! The next problem was the size of the filter it was very restrictive on throttle response and the filtering element isnt the best quality either and if the filter goes all crappy cos of water mud rain etc you cant buy another replacement!!! The other MAJOR problem that we found was the in heavy traffic when you are close to a car with quite alot of exhaust it gets sucked in and the car stalls out!!! I could go on but i think you get the picture its DEFINATELY RICE!!! LOL :P :D I must say they look cool
  13. "Stands up on a box" ..... introducing the master of the spray can aka Silverbullit. Firstly the danger of using your touch up paint is if it has sat long enough it will have gone hard or if exposed to heat the paint in the bottle actually changes colour or the paint just simply goes off and looks crap. But as RUNX said if you've got a spray gun and know how to use it then do it. But make sure your gun is spotless clean and also the items your spraying. Remember painting is 90% preparation and 10% painting for a great result. :D "HERE, HERE" Mr SILVABULLIT!!!!! IT DEFINATELY IS 90% PREP 10% PAINT!!!!!
  14. All those brands like G-Force, D2, RAcing Logic are cheap and you get what you pay for, to put it simple (not saying they are bad) but then we all have to shop to our budgets!! But i guess the best way to figure out if they (the cheaper brands) would be good for you ask your self are you planning on putting your car around a track in the future??!! If you answer YES then if you can save $1,400 then you can save-up abit more and get some purpose built for example the "CUSCO" ZERO'S!!!! Those cheaper brands are great for a budget coil-over if you got a drift car but as for their say track styled coil-overs they aint really the best quality for that application from my experience and my friends experience this is comming from a retail point of veiw and also from guys involved in motorsport racing I.E. Professional Drivers......For a person who wants to dump their car on its aR53 and still have some handling for the lowered street car they are probably a better choice than just goin for lowered springs!!! :D I rekon whats the point of wasting hard earned dollars on top of the range coil-overs if your car is only ever gonna see the car park of our many race tracks around OZ!!???!!!
  15. Well its entirely up to you which way u do it but IF you do have access to a spray gun and a compressor you will definately get a better finish off the gun than u will with a spray can (no matter how many coats you put on the eyelids) reason being through a spray gun with a "constant" air-pressure it will atomise the paint better (finer) than any spray can regardless of the size of the spray can and will leave a less grainy noticable spray where with a spray can the caps continually get blocked and the can loses pressure causing the paint to spit!! Which in turn leaves co**** spatters on the eyelids "looks sheit" unless you coat the crap out of it with colour and then rub back the paint with like a 2000 grit sand paper then apply a clear coat!! Rub back the clear and then give it a heavy buff-up with a cut and polish then just give it a light wax!! like a carnuba for example!! Other wise use the spray gun with your thinned out touch-up paint and then just put a clear over it......It isnt always so easy to get a panel finish on an item unless you have had some experience in using a spray gun but for such a small item u wont notice imperfections as much!!! :) ;) ;)
