HEY HEY ALL !!! YES thanks to XOoM i got the net up and running at home and yes its been along time since i've been on the forum !!!Man sooo many threads to read and catch up on and i must say there has been alot of new members since i was last on last (good to see)!!!

But thats the thing guys who gives a Sh17 what a person is driving i can bring out mates with 360 modenas a very quick NSX etc......But has everyone forgotten??? THIS IS A MEET AND CRUISE THIS ISNT A RACE!!!! We all know that we shouldnt be racing on the street and on all the meets and cruises we have had yes their are a few people that get happy and try and race anything that comes their way but in general we all just take it easy i dont know what every-one is worried about IT'S NOT A COMPETITION OR A RACE!!! :) :D

The only problem is with a full size extinguisher is that its gonna wiegh like 10-15kg's+ alittle bit too much wieght to lug around at least with a mid sized extinguisher designed for Automotive use it will help a bit!! But then again judging by how big the flames are and the fact that there is petrol as a major factor would you really want to risk being that close to the eingine bay!!?? I say get full comprehensive insurance and keep your self, your mates and your loved ones safe and JUST RUN and let it burn to the ground cos your gonna get paid out for the damage any way!!!!

Thanks heaps Bill i swear you should be a private investigator!! Surely guys they will have a hatch version as-well because that is exactly what made the corolla such a popular car in the first place!!

SORRY TO HEAR MATE!!!!! :( All i can say is atleast no-one was hurt and i hope that your insurance will pay this one out!!! I havnt heard of any problems at all with any stivos but my mates EP71 STARLET turbo burnt to the ground after a dogdey install of a turbo timer caused his car to burst into flames while driving then it would not turn off!!!! The installer was taking to court!!! And this all happened 3days before he was goin to sell the car the turbo timer was the selling point!!! <_< :(

"ENGINE CONVERSION"??????

I was talking to a family friend awhile ago who was an ex-highway patrol and he was saying that the only reason that cops/law hate the lowered ride hieght and wider larger diametre tyres of us young guys cars is the fact that...... 1) It lowers the centre of gravity making the car more stable and handle better at high speed, as we all know hehehehehe ;) ^_^ :P 2) The wider track of the tyres produces a larger surface area to grip on the road...Better grip and handling around tight corners!! ^_^ ^_^ 3) To sum it all up this was the thoughts quite a few years ago but basically should we "PULL-CHASE" against the Police in our cars they would have SH17 all chance of catching us!!! :P Due to the fact that in OZ the police cannot perform the same high speed persuits and blocking moves as they do in America.....But even saying that look at what happened 3-4years ago when the NSW police force got the tweaked up version of the Club SPEC EVO3 WRX they were all re-called and no longer used because the police could'nt drive the damn things....Lets face it you dont have to be Collin MCray to take a corner at 60+km/hr in REXY .....But half of the WRX cop cars were crashed i personally saw one of them crashed after a unsuccessful CAR CHASE!!! ^_^
