  1. ahh post some pics of ya calipers ! as for exhaust not sure.. i just got a stock on mine, sounds alright with the CAI but, so not in a rush for any performance gains out of this car as of yet.. concentrating on sound atm, and looks.. she goes alright as is..
  2. im sure many of you have looked up youtube for speedo runs and lift etc.. im sure most of you's have come accross this youtube vid atm i got a single din blue JVC deck, im thinking if i change the dash lights to blue, with the a/c controls blue, ill have a blue setup, and when lift kicks in it goes back to red... you's think its possible and will it look alright?? atm i have yellow a/c controls, blue radio and red dash..

  4. sorry this is a cra* photo, taken in the dark with phone flash in the rain.. does any1 suggest something to fill up these side gaps, its a universal pocket from double din to single\ is there a proper pocket for the 123R Sportivo? reason from double to single is i can get subs going, new door speakers powered by new amp blahblah.. any help would be appreciated, if its a crasy idea i still wanna hear it.. thankyou in advance.   7. go Krudd!! i got 205/45R17's, came with the car, their gr8.. nice traction, from 1st to 2nd, i dont really land in lift, but very close to it. even flat shift and getting wheel spin from 1st to 2nd still wont land me in lift

  9. no engineer cert aslong as the engine is the same size, as in 1.8L tho im sure you will have to let the rta know the engine number has changed.
  10. i reckon it would take a day to replace providing they start it 8am, and u pick it up 5. as for cost mechanics charge what $80/h ??? i know we charge $110.. id get different quotes from a few places
  11. yes some people are just idiots.. double demerits this long w/e.. turning right.. light went green, so i found my friction point and started to creep forward when out of nowhere this lebo in a crappi red car ran the red and turned infront of me.. i honked and he looked like he was in the right because he was lebo.. ffs.. and i was driving, this old azn bloke swerved into my lane.. i hit my brakes and honked immediately.. he didnt look, so i hit lift next to him and it being louder with the CAI got his attention, he looked at me so i gave him the finger and drove off.. probably a late night from playing the pokies at canley vale rsl
  12. it would of flexed in and out, causing the pain to crack slightly on the plastic bar.. get a good light, check for cracks, if so get a quote from the panel beater or body repairs and give the quote to his insurance

  14. i would go for new drive shafts too, just incase.. and lsd too what chicaboo said.. ive already thought it out if i won lotto.. i would buy a house, with a massive garage in the back, with a hoist.. rip my motor out that night.. and work from the sump plug right up to the rocker cover bolt.. :(

  16. be sure you got the correct clearance.. yes their not hydraulic.. their solid lifters, if their is too much clearance, shims have to be changed to thinker ones.. Intake 0.08 to 0.18 MM... (0.0031 to 0.0071 IN ) Exhaust 0.22 to 0.32 MM... (0.0087 to 0.0126 IN ) --Vavle Clearance COLD!! as you make already know exhaust is bigger because it gets hotter than intake, and fills the gap up.. make sure you havn't mixed it up. did you build it?? i reckon their are heaps of things it can be, does the chain sound like its sloppy?? the hook on the tensioner isnt still on?? is the camshaft holders in the place their ment to be, their numbered... and torqued to 19nm.. hows the bearings on those...

  19. how soon after did you have the brake problem after they said 30% left? Id write a complaint, saying you had total trust in their service department to give you insite on your braking system and safety, but your trust has now diminished, more than likely they'll try and gain that trust back by offering something.. story.. one of our guys left a smudge inside the car... customer complained.. we offered a full interior and exterior detail. he was wrapped.
  20. Not too sure about the Xforce cannons, but I'm running an Xforce oval muffler with custom 2.5 inch piping. The mufflers product number is MP-02 if your interested. the quality on them is very good and the sound is perfect for me. Its on the quiet side until you hit lift thanx for the replies fella's & and1, thanx, just checked the MP-02, oval is 6"x10". atm im purchasing CAI. shortly after ill go with just the rear muffler change, just had a look at the MP-01 with the twin tips, liking the single tip MP-02 very much tho. u dont have a vid/pic or anything ?
