can c*ap rotors cause noise??? here's my rotors.. i do go abit hard on them.. if i machine and it goes away then comes back i know its the rotors right? if that does happen ill replace with slotted or something.... look if u think it needs machining.. p.s mind the date *stupid camera*

warped rotors will cause brake shudder, she's smooth :( ill machine them on monday, seeing as ive only done approx 1,000km on these rotors they will still have enough meat on em to shave em :( i dont get it why it a metalic noise and there is no indications of metal to metal, im bored if anyone has mechanical skills and wants to listen

yup astras suck, i did a transaxle ( gearbox on a manual ) the other week, warranty, astra sri, approx $6k just for the box :o :o :o :o lucky warranty... and i heard those electric powersteering is expensive :P also $1450 for a alternator once again good deal on service.. also check out suspension and brakes section, i posted there for a problem i got

thats a good deal!! i did a vectra this week, came in for a major, Timing belt + tentioners, plugs, oil, air, fuel, pollen filter... it left with that + Rocker Cover Gasket leaking, Engine Mount, 2 Tyres, Rotate, Balance, Wheel Alignment, Sway Bar links.. over $2.2k its very good deal cause if its a chain, it involves taking of the timing cover which needs new gaskets/seals.. anything timing means fore $$ as its more how should i say 'no n00b can do it'? <_< even better cause a general service is u said $200... think that rotors n pads n timing n gearbox was $400 :o

okay, brakes were really giving me the ****s today so i pulled the wheels off in the driveway, used my apprentice skills and checked it out...dust covers are away from rotors... checked pads, still 5-6mm, way off the wear indicators.. check the shims and their not hitting the rotors... i swear i dunno im getting ****** lol, starting to think its the rotors they put on.. maybe its cheap non genuine :( shall i machine my rotors on mon??

Welcome to the forums, check oil, don't forget when u leave the motor sitti around the oil goes to the sump, so for that split 2 seconds or so u might get a noise till the oil get to the rockers n cams at the top. Is that the sound? Or do u think it's something else?

honestly i thought you were talking about this rear noise.. cause i thought toyota fixed the glovebox, if they didnt fix the noise and you payed for it to be fixed, take it back and say i payed for it to be fixed, and its not fixed, i think you should fix it for free....

ahh thankyou for the advise on clipping... ive upgraded the amp to 250rms, so sub is 225, gain isn't too high, maybee half.. so hope im safe, even tho the gain is at half it still pumps harder than the jbl 200rms..

Hook it to your interior light, find the wiring in the door seal trim, also look for the installation guide for the sportivo door seal logo thing and hook it up the same, sorry I'm on my mobile.
