lol bummer on the road works dude my car is also filthy seems everytime I wash and clean it then down comes the rain again ? now I like the rain as much as the next guy but Is also love the car to stay clean for more than maybe 2 days lol any way look forward to the pics when shes clean

thnx the purple tint is caused from the white balance setting not bieng correct on the camera with the light i was using was a mistake but in the end I didnt mind the effect only had the new camera a few days so just test shots really Ill be up loading pics here http://tinypic.com/serp105 if any one is keen for a look cheers

yeah maybe I have used that fuel since I have had the car so maybe not sure just trying some stuff

my econ seems very bad atm ,Im thing of taking the SRI off and putting the stock one back on because it seems that Im using more since that has been on ? I dont know why it would be Im up around 12 l per 100 atm which is a lot I think considering the car only gets a bit of a booot every now and then i used this page from my last fill http://beno.id.au/html/webpages-goldwing/ecoCalc.html 285.2 kms 34.81 litres

Gday Steven thnx for the head up on the process I have done a fair bit of reading on this as I really want to do mine glad to hear they come apart easily I have been trying to track down a second hand pair of lights to do this on in case I stuff it up but cant find any not at a reasonable price anyway as for paint have you thought of trying one of the spray tints that you get fro super cheap etc that's what I was thinking of trying because when you use the spray tint it gives you like a black chrome effect which I think would look good and way have fun with it and look forward to seeing the result and the pics also hearing if it will go back together easy enough cheers

the sensor is on the dash, I have thought about somehow sticking some sort of window tint over it and trying to trick it into thinking its darker than it actually is therefore turning the lights on I just been to lazy to try it yet lol may work may not
