$350 for replacement bulbs o.o Did you find that visibility was affected much going from 4300 ---> 6000k?

My Grande was written off a few months back and I've since upgraded to an IS250. Hopefully the intake won't mess up the cabin ambience too much but I love the sounds from these intakes. Do you know if we have to inform the insurance co. of the mod?

I ended up getting it - was quite impulsive. Had a 10% off eBay voucher that should have expired but still worked so quickly rushed to find something to spend it on. I hope it's worth it, does an upgraded intake make that much difference in sound on the outside or is it more of a cabin noise upgrade?

Hi Camry, I'm just wondering if you've received it yet and if you think it's worth purchasing? I'm thinking of getting something similar but I can't work out if I can justify the cost :l

Genuine Japanese OEM parts in the US are actually made by manufacturers in the USA. They're simply rebranded, they change occasionally too. This doesn't just apply to the cabin filter, the oil filter is rebranded there as well (not sure about the air filters).

IMO, first gen Aurion trumps all the newer designs. Not a huge fan of the back end of the new Camry - looks like it's cross bred with a liberty nor the new Aurion (which looks like it was reversed into a wall). The front end of the Atara models is quiet nice but overall I still think I like the Gen7 better. Civic - never been a fan. The new one is gross as well. I'd take the current Accord Euro (even with its 5 year old design) over all of them but.

I haven't been here in a while and I'm just curious - where'd DJKOR go? I've been reading all his little guides and posts that he's helped others with and they've all helped me fixed the problems that I've had (especially in regards to car electronics). It's a shame that he's gone, he had a lot of knowledge that he shared with us. Has that legendary TRD been sold?

Just tried installing a reverse camera onto the stock navigation unit and it doesn't seem to be working. Plugged into the TV screen the camera works fine but when plugging it into the pins behind the nav unit as explained here: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/13772-toyota-aurion-reversing-camera-installation/ The screen doesn't seem to be receiving a signal at all, it doesn't switch to the reverse camera screen and just stays on whatever screen it's on. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.

Everyone (everywhere) seems to bag out the Camry as being one of the most uninspiring creations to ever hit the road: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=1919054 As Camry owners, what are your thoughts and comments? I know that my Camry is a bit boring but hopefully reliability makes up for that?

Hey TOCAU :) Does anyone know what the 90k km service costs on a ACV40R Camry? Is this a major service? Trying to work out whether to sell off the car now or keep it for a while.

I'm usually not a fan of base models, but the new AT-X is quite nice (personal preference over the Sportivo exteriors) and the Presara is even better. The front end looks Lexus inspired, uninspiring back though - looks like it reversed into a wall and it's all flattened out?

DAFUQ IS THIS?!?!?!? Much prefer the previous Aurion over this! This new Aurion is looking like that fugley Corolla sedan now :(. I was expecting something great to counteract the design of the new Camry but the entire Toyota sedan range is now wtf. Like seriously, when a new model comes out I'm like OMGOMGOMG I need to have the newer one! but if I had an older Aurion, I'd hold onto that for sure. I must admit, the above speedometer is cool!

The plastics of the Aurion/Camry are actually the cheap hard type plastic. The Premium Soft-touch plastics are found in the Lexus range.

I would defiantly prefer the competition: 6/Accord Euro/Kizashi and even the ugly Liberty (though still being prettier than the Atara). Take a test drive of the different cars, the 6 has the best handling/ride, the Euro has the looks, Kizashi and Liberty are all rounders. The Aurion is also quite nice, I'd get a Presara/ZR6 spec which is a few years old if I were in your shoes (I regret choosing a Grande). The 6th Gen Camry is a bit boring... However, all these things are subjective - as long as you like the car then don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

Very Lexus GS like, I don't like how it looks like it reversed into a wall though and now has a flat bottom...but other than that, it's quite nice!

I've seen a few of these on the roads, still not feeling the love :(. I hope the new Aurion doesn't look like Anus (or at least have the bum of the current Camry).

Just wondering, is the sportivo suspension much firmer/tighter than the ones equipped on the Altise/Ateva/Grande variants? I've just noticed that my car is so boatish and boring to drive after driving other cars in the same class :c

How much light is lost going from 4300k to 6000k ? I heard it's like 25%, is that really true?
