  1. Yep, sounds right. Was quoted like $4k on an Accord Euro lol.
  2. I like it, very clean! I think the Civic Sport wheels would suit it better or even the Modulo optioned 17" wheels off the Accord Euro. How much did the modulo kit set you back if you don't mind me asking?
  3. Ask if the spoiler can be painted in Taiwan? Most of the sellers offer a paint option.
  4. Thanks! Do you know how many cans I would to coat a set of wheels? I bought mine a while ago but I think it was $220 from memory, I found them on ebay for $170 though but you have to factor in shipping and getting the shop to fit them etc.
  5. Hey Rich, Tad off-topic but I'm just wondering if plastidip came in a glossy finish? Ps. Did the Kumho KU39's come stock from factory? I'm running these on an Accord Euro too in 235/45/18 size as well! I found them to be quite good - is that what you're finding as well? I'm looking to replace my Continental ContactSport tyres on the IS soon and am looking at the KU39's again. They replaced french made Michelins Primacy HP's on the Accord Euro ($450 a corner...wtf) and I found that there was little difference in drive so I think they're very good considering the price.
  6. Look up Shipito too - they're who I use for forwarding things from the US. They charge $8.50 per parcel and then banking fees are included in the postage cost (so it's not actual cost price postage) but they do get discounts from shipping companies so it cancels out in the end.
  7. All the new Toyotas kind of have a square, straight lined look vs the curvature of the previous gens. I like the older ones better.
  8. How does your Honda relate to OP's question? lol
  9. The chinese have already cracked Techstream light and sell it cheaply with the cable lol.
  10. That looks great - did you do that defyant? I think I saw your modding thread on HIDplanet? Great work.
  11. That's super cool! Be sure to post up a progression thread - I'd be keen to follow it.
  12. It's pretty sad isn't it - all they have to do is plug in the computer and uncheck a box in the setting menu. They wanted to charge $140 tut tut.
  13. No worries haha, I watch pimp my ride occasionally! I was googling what LED DRL's look like on a Rukus and your thread came up so I guess you already did that mod lol.
  14. I wouldn't mind seeing a thread with a meetup of new Camry owners! You should organise an event.
  15. I purchased my Lexus caliper decals from here: http://www.motogfx.com/ They had the decal on their computer already and I didn't have to send measurements or anything. They were highly recommended as well and the decals are holding up well. Try and see what a local store can do first if they don't have the template for the new camry.
  16. I like your car Sonia! Do you have any pictures of what the badge looks like in the daytime? As long as you like the badge, who cares about what other people think.
  17. Hmm...I think white calipers would get dirty pretty quick? I painted mine black and they always look clean, I thought the dirt just washed off. I was curious the other day and actually shone a light onto them and there was dirt and dust all over them lol, the black just masked it. If you could keep them clean, I think white ones would look great with a black Toyota vinyl sticker across them too.
  18. I'm not a huge fan of the new Camry but yours is extremely tasteful, well done! I'm loving the two tone colour scheme.
  19. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the Kappa's from. Everywhere I look for new ones they're really expensive :o
  20. Hi there Thank you for all the information - extremely helpful, I was going to purchase the bulbs from the link you gave but then came across what Kombi17 has posted below: - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PHILIPS-D4S-X-2-BULBS-42402-C1-42V-35W-P32D-5-OE-FIT-ORIGINAL-XENON-HID-LAMP-DOT-/130577158276?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e67015084&clk_rvr_id=527333957378 Which seems to be the same brand but OEM standard 4300k rather than the 6000k and less expensive due to this at $160.00 Will try this out and see how it goes. If you want the OEM 4300k, buy it off Amazon, it's cheaper too and guaranteed to be Genuine. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00480J4I2
  21. Can we have pictures of the 6000k bulbs, I really want to get them now but still can't justify the cost.
  22. Or see a Locksmith :) :) Are you a locksmith that can reprogram them, could you do a distance program :p ? I called up nearly all of them here in Brisbane including the specialists and they all told me to go to the dealer for a smart key. The dealer said that he didn't even know if it was possible to reprogram a used smart key but would try it. I know in the US the dealers are willing but Australian dealers I'm not sure of :x
  23. For future reference, used keys can be programmed but are very tricky - you need access to a head Toyota technician at their dealership. They call up Toyota for a code to "reseed" the cars computer and basically wipe all keys from the cars memory before adding them all back on. If you try to use a used key with the normal Toyota Techstream software - it won't be successful.
