  1. for me i think its best to BLITZ SUPERCHARGE it like the one Danz shown us for the Celica, the VoodooGTS-TeamSadistic. haha. the question....GOT SPACE? i am not sure abt the rolla but this link is for the Celica, VoodooGTS: http://teamsadistic.net/VoodooGTS_BlitzVideo.wmv (i know this is a little old but thanks Danz for the link....totally enjoyed it) :D
  2. How do u do that? ... <_< I need some suspension now....any suggestions? judging from the comments on the forums, sport low (Kings) are better handling? is there any place in melbourne that does it for cheap? ...i.e. less than 350? :) i tot u found the place already for it? anyway, i'm on Lovells Sports Lows (Sp/L) fitted in by Mr.Muffler at the Glen Waverley Branch. Look for either Jay(the boss) or Glenn (the installer) and they will hook u up. Glenn did a very nice job on my ride and it is sweet as, ever since. they did mine for $340, so it is BEST that you say you got a quote from a shop for $330 and ask him to top that. if you are still gunning for Kings Lows then Mr.Rubber in Richmond might be your place. Unlike Mr.Muffler, these guys also do the alignment for ya making it convenient. however, everyone recommends you to ride the springs out for the first 1 to 2weeks or 200/300kms to let it get settled in then only get the alignment done. your choice, your pick mate! ;)
  3. doesnt he have 4wd and a 3SGTE motor in it? LOL. lighten up mate. its meant to be a joke ;)
  4. errrrrr......when's the next short meet at Vic Mart for this thread? ello? anybody home? ello? :D
  5. ALRIGHT! next mod for me is the Turbo GT40. anyone up for a group buy for this? :D
  6. Toyota Sportivo Coupe anyone???? though it is just an artist concept but don't you just love to ride in one? ----> http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_...ts/melb04_2.htm
  7. can any admin close off this thread....not needed anymore. cheers! :)
  8. thats a bit unfair... what about the first 30 to pay for their run? And how exactly is that any fairer? i wont be able to make it until 11am as i work sunday mornings.. take me off the list please... i really cant be bothered if its going to cause issues take it easy mate. just come as u are and get ready for a vroooooominnnnngggggg time ;)
  9. ;) Not all the members have rollas here to my knowledge. So, welcome to ze forum :) '86 twincam huh.....errr.... the Hachi Roku/Trueno style? heh heh
  10. LOL...well, i guess mine's $225 ($125, ze goods + $100 pro paint job) without the extra "overheads" or due to my laziness of even trying to do a DIY. no worries RME1, we all learn through mistakes. heh heh :)
  11. BigBum knows that dude....and now I just met that dude. :D His name is Ryan from HK and I just knew that his car and my car are now twins with the eyelids and front grille makeover. Except his car has the TAXI light signage at the rear and the retractable stubby antenna. Anyone want some BADGES for their car, you can surely look him up. ;)
  12. u say paint n primer 23 bux? did u paint it urself? how'd u paint ur grille n eyelids for so cheap.. cause the only thing stopping me buying them is the cost of painting them? cheers c-rolla painting it ourselves is a no no for moi. kinda tough as you have to match the colour though it seems easy to do unless you wanna follow the COLOUR CODE that's located on the information plate in the engine compartment of your ride. RME1 got it painted professionally for $100 which I reckon should be the right price as MJ Motors in Springvale does it for nearly the same price too. since you are into it, might as well get it done nicely right? ;) that springval place sounds very good pricing for the eye lid and grill, where abouts in springval man? and did they paint both the eye lid and grill for 100???so if i only get the grill is like 50 to paint it?? It is called MJ Jap Motors (1/39 Osborne Avenue, Springvale/03-95485837). Those dudes are panel beaters, spray painters, servicing all rolled into one. Look for Alex and ask him to hook you up. Yes, $100 for both eyelids and grille. The colour matching and code?...priceless match. haha.

  14. LOL....if i am visiting OnTheRun in BoxHill, i might even bump into ya. :D
  15. nice! might just follow ur gets on the eyelids+mesh grille+paints, etc. btw, ur paint and primer, u got them off the same shop or Bunnings? heh heh. hope i can get $110 outta them. :D oh for my Lovells, they are Sports Lows (Sp/L) but you can get Super Lows (S/L) like those of Kings Super Lows. should be of the same price. mine's $340 fitted and mind you, they did a GREAT job. i did not feel the need yet to go for wheel balancing and alignment as there's no swaying one side of the steering wheel or even shaking of the steering. it all seems normal as though nothing's done to it....heh heh...except now me ride is L-O-W. ;) Result --> http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...age_mod&id=2142
  16. i too was looking for Kings. then i went to Mr.Muffler to ask for them but they say they deal with Lovells only. As usual, for marketing talk...they say Lovell is a bit better than Kings in terms of robustness such as thicker springs. i did look online for more info on Lovells but can't find much stuff except that they have been in the business for a very long time (since 1931..if i am not wrong). websites did show that Ford/Holden peepz like to use them. also the Toyota Prado peepz uses them frequently too. neewayz, i got them installed on my stivo and seems like it made my ride a sexy and sweet one now. check it out! ;) mate! i'm looking for eyelids and the grille's too. might be heading down Cyber Century to look me up some. i will nego with them to give me that price they gave u. so when u got them...they are non-coloured rite? and the base is sorta ugly, patchy looking black?
  17. yeah mate, work at monash university at caulfield. all the best, lauschie LOL. Small world. I used to study there. I am sorta still tutoring there...waiting for the 1st semester to begin. You work in which department? Nice to see a fellow rolla/car enthusiast ;)
  18. hi kev, but isn't Sunday the 26th of Feb? ;)
  19. well, i used to have the Philips CrystalVision installed on my Civic last time. however, i've been recommended this product: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde..._gallery&id=883 and it turns out to be the same result as the CrystalVision but at a fraction of the price. don't quote me on this but i think the Philips CrystalVision is about $100+ for the H7s right? well, the one that i am using is about $60 and it works just fantastically fine. this product is made by OSRAM. to know how the colour looks like, just have quick browse through my garage. ;)
  20. hi all beloved members, i'm interested in getting some low springs and got quoted by Mr.Muffler (Glen Waverley) on Lovell Low Springs for $340 fitted (not inclusive of wheel alignment and balancing that is). This Lovell Spring topic is not really covered by barely touching the surface under another topic (Dobinson Springs). Anyone has installed them on their rides before?
  21. mate. i'm sure you will win handsdown. haha :D
