  1. Yeah, the strut brace will fit the facelift Gen5 with no problems.
  2. What colour lug nuts to go with my black wheels on my dark blue car?

Dark blue if you can find one, not the metallic blue, that would look too odd :( And I guess black on black would be too hidden. Otherwise I guess just go with boring silver!

You know what I said :p The other colours you said make me think of lancers :p

  3. Enkei Imola wheels have been shipped. Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhh!!! *David Caruso*

  4. I assumed you were unwell, which sucks. The thing that cleared any confusion was you didn't say 'Fully sick mate, sick. Subwoofer'
  5. There are some similarities between the 30 series and the 36 series but there are some differences. One thing that springs to mind are the headlight bulbs. But the general overview of the car should be good enough
  6. Scalding hot water and a big squirt of Morning Fresh. That or I wash my cleaning gear (foam apps, microfibre cloths etc) in warm wash, no fabric softener and hang to dry
  7. ^ whether the seat would actually move or not is a totally different story though. You could also probably rig it to move with your original lever (to control your distance to the steering wheel) but use the electronic adjust for the tilt, lumbar etc.
  8. Biggest issue is that they are no longer a manually adjusted seat i.e - they are electronic. Given that the seat is made up of a number of different parts that can be bought separately (headrest, back, bottom cushion, airbag section, rails etc); you could probably buy the necessary parts to have a Gen 6 seat, sitting on Gen 4 rails (assuming the Gen 6 rails are different to the Gen 6 ones; which I reckon they are due to the difference in size of the chassis'). Assuming to power the seat is simply through a standard plug (m to f or f to m) it would simply be a case of wiring up the right plug and tapping into a ground and 12v. You wouldn't need to worry about the airbag part of the seat as your Gen 4 didn't come with airbagged seats.
  9. He's not asking for much either. I wonder why???
  10. Hi I bought aurion but i only got owners manual please send your car and i send copy manual tanks are armoured vehicles always
  11. I was racking my brain but I think the technical term is caster. The reason why your bolts aren't perpendicular to the bolt holes is because of your caster; the struts go in on an angle (in this case front struts have a positive caster). ^ Good use of a very simple example there Daryl.
  12. They will line up, chances are the strut bolts (in your case, coilover bolts) stick up making it look like it won't fit. Drop a strut and I am 99% certain it will fit. Don't start grinding things.
  13. LED driving lights. This is going to be very very interesting

  14. In what way? Worst case scenario is you may need to drop a strut to get it on.
  15. Smart****. I won't be wasting any more of my time on you.
  16. Same goes with the bar too... I mean some smart cookie would have to have the $$$$, tooling, fabrication, materials, welders, people and white paint too! Hell why bother with that and simply buy it direct from UR themselves and ship it Down Under on eBay. The Malaysian Ringgit is currently @ 3.00MYR = 1.00AUD. IMO, I say it is genuine. One guy puts out a FAKE post above and all of a sudden it is now... "Yours is Fake - Mine is Genuine", because one was bought in Australia and the other Direct from Malaysia. 8 weeks to fill a container with UR orders and ship it to Oz and sell it for over twice the price sounds about right. Information is only as good as the people giving you such info and in this case, by some Australian distributor who only sells the Genuine stuff... that so happens to be made in Malaysia! I'm not currently in ownership of a Gen5 strut brace so it's got nothing to do with 'mine is genuine, yours is fake' or 'I am upset I paid more than you did for the strut brace'. I would have rather paid the extra knowing I was getting a genuine item; don't get all defensive. As for the 'people giving me info' - I've ordered direct from Luis @ UltraRacing (I've already told him this brace fits on the Gen4) and SILVABULLIT and the ordering process was the same. I had to wait for the ACV36R braces + bars because they only make them to order. Of course, these guys aren't nearly as reliable or trustworthy as this eBay seller you have bought from. Finally, given how you've been spoonfed this information, how it seems you've done 3/10 of bugger all to find out what is available for your car and how I've willingly spent money to buy a brace to do test fittings with no personal gain for me whatsoever (in fact it was a financial + time loss); you really shouldn't be taking a stab at me. I don't care for appreciation but you don't go around doing that Shiite. This is just for you: http://philosopherpoet.com/gallery/v/mine_main/funny/rolleyes.gif.html
  17. Anyone can make up a serial number and sticker, it's going to come down to the performance of the bar. Given the nature of the vehicle; I don't think it is going to be an issue either way. I cannot for the life of me remember how heavy the brace was.
  18. i find it acctually pretty easy to remove.. are you using good quality microfibers? are you working the product long enough? or perhaps too long? what is your working area size? Well I noticed that where I used it (on the bootlid so it's harder to notice) that I had some bad cobwebbing so I thought I'd give it a whirl again. I worked the product in much longer and finished with vertical strokes and it seems to have done the trick. It was easy to remove and the cobwebbing is gone, finish is clear under epic sunlight on different angles but deeper scratches still remain.
  19. In my opinion the UR braces you have bought from that seller are not genuine. The braces for this Camry are not something that they hold in stock and are made to order. I've ordered direct from UltraRacing Australia and I had to wait ~8 weeks for them to have the brace/bars made up in Malaysia and have it shipped.
  20. ^ That's great. We know how the story ends as well.
  21. Ha! I have to getup 4.30-4.45 on the weekends; but I don't care what day it is.
  22. How about we do a Melbourne and meet up at a cafe with writing equipment this Thursday?
  23. Hrmm... have you tried an ECU reset? In the meantime, if you are really cash strapped; go 95 and see if the pinging stops
  24. Ahh yes. Well OP is 'lucky' that the AU handbooks are awfully hard to find online (if not impossible)
