WTF? Free? I must be the only TOCAU member who doesn't have any connections in the Automotive industry. Grats on the entry to a very limited club :)
  2. Do you have the pre- or post facelift Camry? Grill The entire Gen 5 Camry grilles are interchangeable, so as long as it's a Gen5 they will fit. You can also order Grilles from the US for the 2002-2005 US Camry which will also fit. They make the billet/chrome grilles which would suit a VIP kind of look Headlight Physically the Facelift headlights should fit the pre-facelift models; but if you ask me the facelift lights are ugly with the blinker housing on the inner side of the headlight. Even if you have the projector/HID setup; the blinker near the middle looks ugly. Eyelids Freddy @ Topstage makes eyelids for the Gen5 but the ones I got ($150 plus post) needed alot of work before they could be painted. It wasn't worth the extra labour to get them prepped so I have a set here doing nothing. Carmate.com.au also have the eyelids for the Gen5, but I think they don't look as good as the one Topstage makes Springs Kings make the Low Springs for the Gen5 Camry, but it doesn't lower it a great deal. However, I still manage to scrape on some parts of the road/driveway. I lost about 27mm when I put the low springs in when taking out my Sportivo springs. Lovells do make Super Low springs, but you will definitely scrape on low-clearance sections.
  3. Woodworker has completed the cuts for the sub box. 206L of box. He wasn't wrong about the sharp edges of the wood; have cut my hands in a few places.
  4. Sounds like a bit of a flop to me. Is it even popular yet?
  5. Got a new horn today: http://www.stebel.it/stebel2009/products.asp?IDserie=3&uso=&tipologia=ELECTROMAGNETICS Anyone know how to put it in...? I still have plenty of coke and Redbull here.
  6. Let's say... 7pm. The dining hour. I've edited the first post. Thanks for pointing that out steve.
  7. I've used the Armor All Carpet + Upholstery Cleaner (http://www.armorall.com.au/Content.aspx?id=95) to good effect, but it's time consuming because you have to blot it all away. It gets rid of flat white and yoghurt with no trouble. However, if you don't need the mats for a day use the Armor All stuff, but rather than blotting it out blast it with the high pressure hose at the nearest car wash instead. The AA stuff agitates the dirt + stuff and the hose seems to get rid of it all. My mats are due for a blasting, now that you mention it.
  8. ^ think of it as another way to cool it down...! As a result of Daryl's post, I got off my **** and went to a wrecker and bought a windscreeen cowl (+ the plastic door sills + strut mount nuts + air con vents) for a cool $100. Going to do something in the similar vein as Daryl's, but it won't be as easy because my cowl has less raised parts than the TRD Aurion one. One question though Daryl; how would the holes affect the cooling of the radiator? Thinking computer case cooling here, but keeping the positive + negative case pressure (in this case, engine bay) closest to zero usually provides the best cooling. Do you mind expanding on that statement? The door sills will be used in a little project to finally put those proper scuff plates in, fingers crossed it works. Also washed + waxed the car today. Probably the longest time it's gone without a wash (about a week) since I got the bonnet painted.
  9. I am happy to meetup beforehand. Doesn't bother me either way. If you's want to just say so.
  10. Acquaintance? Ash, I do recall the words 'Foe' and 'Sworn enemy' last time I heard you talk about Dee... ;)
  11. Holy crap Ash, you do still come here. You should come to a meet again now that you live closer to meet all the awesome new brisbane boys! (I'm still the only girl) Yes I still look around here, more for gathering the information I need :) One week soon I will come to a meet again. I didnt know you still went to them? i've become a regular of sorts lately. all the boys are great and they are more like friends than people i sort of know through tocau Yeah! *highfive*
  12. ha, reading about the lights in general; I still don't get how the staging lights work.
  13. Keen to head out, but I don't think I'm going to hit the mid-low 14's. Had a look on ebay though... there's a seller doing Federal tyres cheap. $50 cheaper than what Option1 could do for me (per tyre).
  14. I used to have some EuroLine 4500k but one of the died last week after being in for less than 3 months. I currently use the Phillips Extreme powers and they are very good. I won't switch them out till they die.
  15. What is your final verdict? New cowl or can we call you Holey McGee?
  16. Damn it Mitch, I so want that rear lower spoiler!!! <_<

  20. Well, after the meet it has been decided that the meet needs to be on as soon as possible. Drags on Wednesday with Dinner the following Thursday with us possibly/probably going to the loop after a feed. Dinner Date: August 12 Eatery: Hogs Breath Cafe Location: 5 Petrie Terrace, Milton (due to closeness to the Loop, http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=hogs+breath&gl=au&cd=2&ei=FDFUTPq5HIn6kAWij7Va&sig2=1mXFmWHS9hOptyn256yDfQ&ie=UTF8&hl=en&view=map&cid=13198198793670988829&iwloc=A&ved=0CFgQpQY&sa=) Notes: From memory there are no split bills, so please bring some cash. 21. What I really want is a new headunit. My current one's screen is faulty but it is otherwise fully functional. System won't be the best, but it will be a good value for money system. Especially given that all of the drivers + amps has already been purchased. edit: some sort of boost would be good!
