When I had my Sportivo I just taped up the area of the skirt I was cutting with duct tape (to make sure the edges didn't go angry), used a tin with the right diameter to mark off, and used my bf's jigsaw to cut a subtle curve for the stock exhaust. Sounds like the same speculation ppl had about putting the 3SGTE into the ZZE series Corollas. The only people doing that are in Canberra and they're doing it for racing with little or no input from Toyota Australia. If Toyota put that engine in a production car it would not be Corolla. Remember, this 'is' Toyota Australia. They always get everything wrong, so even if they did utilise that engine again we'd see it in a Hiace.
