Micky if we are comparing ECU's then the Motec is the Ferrari and the PFC is the VW based kit car of the thus mentioned Ferrari. I know of one BB harness in Brissy that combined with a PFC is entering an engine bay of a Sportivo real soon. Combined with a dose of CES goodness i'm sure the results will bring a smile to the owners roughish looking dial..... Missed the point of my post completely.... Besides the shell dynamics, the Celica has IRS which is an advantage to it's handling ability. I also think the hi-cam comes on a bit later, however I could be wrong on that one. The Corolla's actually handle just as well in the right hands (reference to Peter T), in saying that the Celica may be easier to drive from the start for someone new. In a straight line they'd be very similar. It would be dependant on the skill of the drivers shifting to establish the end result.

I just sold my corolla because I wanted a car that is faster. Corolla's are fun, but to be honest I quickly forgot the Corolla when I hit boost in the RX7 for the first time.
