  5. someone tell me if its bad or not before i blow my car up -_-
  6. So... Is this a bad thing? The pipe collapses but it not completely as u can see in the video. Only way i can fix this is to run a longer line from the outlet of the catch can and put the adapter it just before it enters the plenum. Therefore the amount of 3/4'' pipe is less so less likely to collapse
  7. OK. After a lot of cuts and cursing I finally got this thing... inside the engine bay... Got rid of those old pipes and replaced them with new ones... and got brass reducers for heat resistance compared to plastic ones from SCA cleaned the intake plenum again as it was already got oil sitting in there -_- but i didn't take it out this time. i just stuck a rag in there and poked a chopstick inside and cleaned it haha. now i dont have to worry about it anymore. except i got his problem here http://au.toyotaowne...plenum-problem/ anyone know if this is normal?
  8. OK. so i've just installed a catch can yesterday. everything is good except one thing. the pipe returning to the plenum (bigger 3/4'' pipe) is collapsing under idle or constant engine speed. Is this normal? i know the PCV valve is one way and that maybe the air is being blocked when there is little or no load on the engine. however i was told that it also completely closes when i give it full throttle which oil get shot down the breather pipe. The breather pipe however is OK and not collapsing. very short video here... if this IS a problem then the only way i can fix this is to make the 3/8 piping longer and open to the 3/4'' pipe right towards the end entering the plenum as the 3/8 pipe is small enough to not collapse. otherwise no problem, no touch. lol thanks
  9. sometimes its not relevant. u NEED to contact in the state from which the dealer came from. If it was me, i'd threaten them with lawyers and consumer affairs and they will get sh#t scared. Trust me, they would not want to go through a court and rather repair the little things that make their costumers unhappy. prozak clean your inbox pm :P i need to ask you something important

  17. It still helps prolong the use of the gearbox, such as warming the car up before flogging it (as most new cars don't need to be "warmed up"). This.
