would be interesting to know how loud it would be, as I made up 1 3/4 inch bolt on pipes with a 6 inch length hot dog on each and they were a bit too loud.

So i can get the nice sound without having to install an exhaust system? (which i intend to do in the future anyway) But if theres a cheaper easier option in the meanwhile, i'll take it... It is the easiest mod that will turn heads. Matching an exhaust is still a very difficult.

I just had my front left wheel bearing and hub replaced, after 255,000 km's a.nd cost $315 all up

Just an update, we eliminated any warping in the rotors causing the noise, and although there is no movement, the bearing seems to be the only option, not bad I spose since its done over 255 K.

Im unsure if I currently have a wheel bearing on the way out or If I have a problem with my DBA slotted rotors, Im getting a chonk chonk sound on the front left which is there at all speeds, it gets higher pitched the faster you go !

Induction definately, exhaust, I gotta say, I think yours has the edge right now. Although when it comes to driving comfort, I beat both of you - mine doesn't make a sound! I got to work today and had to ask what date it was to chnage my calender over. sure it's the 19th lol go to "find-a-part and put in a request for whatever parts you want.Although I have done this, I have only got one reply from a mainland wrecker saying he didnt have anything.

I can help you there. When mine blew up it cost 10k for a new one fitted or 7k to rebuild.

As far as i have seen, you cannot buy a black bonnet protector. Mine is a clear one, I stuck the Aurion signwriting on the inside and then sprayed the inside of the protector with ordinary black tin spray paint.

The cat IS WELDED to the y-pipe on the lower section and on the upper section, the cat is part of the exhaust headers. Was thinking going full twin from the Y . as I have already hacked the rear pipe and shortened it, I will need another complete manifold to cat to have equal length, and I want the oxygen sensors on each pipe, not both on the front pipe (causes occasional errors)

mine is quite thumpy in the rear shocks especially early on in the day, they settle down after a while.

obviously no one interested in this mod !

The next project if I make a comeback, is to design and build a full twin system for the Aurion, someones got to do it!

The rear sway bar is in thanks to Scott, as im not allowed to do too much yet.The rear end is so stiff now, you give it a bit of stick round bends it feels like "cocking its leg" lifting the wheel off the ground, very interesting sensation. B)

Rear 19mm sway bar finally arrived ! suspension mods will be complete ! took nearly half an hour to remove wrapping !

I still get the occaasional error, and its an oxygen sensor ( bottom bank 2) getting a dodgy reading off the precats goes after a day or so.
