  1. I have the strut brace installed and now have the 4 points rear bars installed, made it a little more stiff and bouncy, got bucked out of the seat while on a spirited run, very funny sensation. just the 19mm read sway bar to go.
  2. no problems with the front bar, fitted perfectly.
  3. Good news it seemed to be the fuel filter, its starting a lot easier !
  4. If your smelling sulphur the your cat is working. I have the K&N sri and i have not noticed any difference in emissions. you can get a wiff if you pull up and the last exhaust fumes leach out of the mufflers and blows under your car to be picked by the fan intake.
  5. I will be making a start on it by replacing the overdue fuel filter, see if that improves it.

  7. Would bunging them in one of the pipes work of does it need the full flow of all 3 on each bank ?

  9. Thats quite interesting,it makes a horrible rattling racket when it first starts up, maybe its one of those. I know the mech removed the rear left one when changing plugs. I did notice it had a bit of sludge in it. Maybe take them all out and clean them.
  10. I have had trouble with starting, it initially starts like its on 3 cylinders for about 10 seconds then runs fine. occasionly it does it at operating temp as well. I have recently replaced the plugs and its been the same from changing over the airbox to the SRI???? any clues??
  11. Realistically, the front strut tower brace doesn't really improve the cornering abilities of your car. It does however improve the cornering feel of your car. It's like changing your running shoes. A new pair may feel more comfortable but it won't make you faster. You will however get a surprisingly large improvement by upgrading your rear sway bar so I'd highly recommend doing that. If the strut brace was enough to amaze you, you'll drop your jaw after upgrading the RSB. holy crap if it gets better than I have then yes the rear bar is next !! thanks DJKOR.

  13. I have recently replaced my rotors with DBA slotted with genuine pads,and it works better than the stock rotors.
  14. Hi folks, I have been a bit quiet on the modding front lately (recent heart trouble) any way I finally have the intake and the Ultra Racing strut bar. and after testing on a twisty steep hill im amazed at the difference of handling, can attack the corners much more aggresivly !

  18. I shouldn't have let you drive it then. lol. Anyway apart from a couple of error codes ( 1 related to a catylist below parameters) the K & N intake was worth the time and money, have notice a reasonable decrease in the ave fuel consumtion, quite often running in the mid 9's, so do it adamsy !
  19. I got mine for $286.00 including postage, took 33 days to arrive, but worth the wait !
  20. I just had those put on mine and apart from the wrong pads ( bendix, get too hot too quick) they seem ok. cost $305 for the pair.
  21. Have finally got the K&N SRI fitted, could not be happier with the result. there is better bottom end tourque than stock, the note is similar to my experiments, but no issues with the ECU. YAY!!!!!

Well lucky me, that I have a mechanic with an eye for detail. there was no problem with the steering rack ends or the rack itself, only the fact that when my transmission was replaced the "dealership" forgot to tighten the steering shaft bolt ( it wasn't even finger tight) It is just like new now.
  23. Better quality lights and they are white compared with the blue ones I had.
  24. Got quote for replacing 1 steering rack end.. $608.00 so I asked what was the quote to replace the whole steering rack...$1600. I think this will be the way to go.
