  1. Should get mine checked, they have done over 310K with no problems.
  2. Yep thats about the size of it !
  3. Ok I'll give this a go, the merge is cut just after the rear O2 sensor, a mandrel bend pipe on the rear bank, and straight pipe to 2 flex pipes, then a flange, then 2 1/2 pipes to 2 10 inch length hotdog resonators, then twin pipe all the way to the 2 1/2 cannon mu<iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=4885590866064" width="1280" height="720" frameborder="0"></iframe>fflers.
  4. This is a second run, I think I need to get hold of a Go Pro to do this properly. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=4872010846572&l=1507136018554148023
  5. Just a bit of video, will give you some idea of the sound. <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/video/embed?video_id=4870858337760" width="320" height="240" frameborder="0"></iframe>
  6. Will have all the specs as well tomorrow.
  7. It sure is a professional job ! much better than some exhaust shops I have dealt with. And now the Aurion sounds a bit like a Supra and has attitude. Will try to do some video tomorrow. Also there are no issues with sensors or other bugs. There is also a slight gain in power, nothing huge, but the new sound takes care of that.
  8. Here is the twin exhaust built by Paul Cooper in Hobart, just before install around an hour ago. ]

  10. As we speak, the project has commenced, cant wait to see and hear it, remembering this is experimental. pics and or video at a later date.
  11. The idea is keep the cats on the manifolds, these have sensors either side of them. Just the larger one before the resonator, which does not have any sensors.
  12. These are very easy to install yourself, the only thing one has to think about is putting the vaccuum hoses round the right way.
  13. Next week just before our next southern cruise is the aim for the twin system mod.
  14. Just taking out the resonator will make it louder, but also give you more drone inside, you need a resonator of some sort. Finding the right combination of resonators and mufflers is not easy, iv'e been experimenting for a couple of years now. As for your intake K & N SRI is the way to go, its designed for the 2GRFE, and while you dont get any huge gains, you will turn heads kicking the throttle
  15. Always been happy with mine, even if s just with the ripper sound!
  16. Will be taking mine off the road next week for stage 2 ! Can I get away with just using the pre cats on the manifolds? Or will I have to use the 2 main cats that I have?
  17. Now I have replaced the rear manifold and engine pipe, going to start the twin system from the merge. The question is do I need to use the main cats ( I have 2 now) or would it be legal with just the cats off each manifold?
  18. Could never see the point of putting a nice chrome tip over the stock pipe and leave it poking out ! bad one Toyota.
  19. Just waiting for a replacement rear manifold, then embark on the full twin system in the next week or two.
  20. I am interested in this especially the roof, as my car was a taxi, and has holes in the roof where wiring and arials were. Would be a cheaper way of covering these up!
  21. Im about to do away with the Y merge all together. Going to build the full twin system shortly, stay tuned.
  22. bob jane zenon z7's no good in the wet though.
  23. Thanks folks, I will still be in the club as I will be looking for another Toyota project car.
