Hey any of you tried QBE ? I am with Western QBE and they where the cheapest I found (ALOT cheaper than RAC) Not sure what they are like with mods though :/ I guess I will find out when I cross that path !!

To be honest - I would go buy another brand, or if in WA I bought mine from Big Rock Toyota - sales was good but it seems after they get the money the wheels tend fall off in regards to service .... Either way just be VERY careful when buying a new car

Well chalk up 2 cars for WA. I had some minor problems with my car (Should have been picked up by the dealer) and a major defect with my friends car which is still an ongoing battle (Should have been picked up in dealer delivery as well) - both where brand new cars. Will be going to see my friend this arvo so it will be interesting to see where he is now with his car. Suffice to say I believe a new car should have ZERO problems for at least one week ! (After all that is why I bought a new car for) Russell That's because we're the only ones driving the cars they way they're meant to be driven...... :P While Silva's comment on driving is probably true, I think there have been just as many issues in NSW, Vic, etc. as in Queensland. But as far as reports on here are concerned, there are certainly more issues with the South African cars than with the Japanese cars.

Well I just ordered some Klasse product for my car, was hoping it would arrive this week, but did not come :( Will let you know how it goes. Anyone else try Klasse before ? (Some German product that my friend recommended) I know they use it in Singapore on the Subaru Rally cars ;P

Well I know I for one would like to get the TRD Pod and Air filter, anyone know what the TRD suspension is like ?

Hi all, My name is Russell, bought a new 05 Red 'rolla Sportivo, reside in Perth. Lift addict for sure, just wish it would kick in harder though !! Also needs a serious muffler upgrade to make it sound better !

Woah, I forgot to check this thread for one day and look at all of the replies !! Thanks for the pics and that movie, sounds awesome !! Those duel tipped mufflers look awesome, the fit is perfect on the car. So I assume magnaflow is ok then if it is similar to xforce ? My friend says they are about $300 - do not know if that is fitted though, I know I want duel tipped though ! Regards Russell

Ok all you modified 'rollas where are the sound bites ?? My friend was saying that the 'rolla exhaust system is good enough and that all the gains are in the muffler. He was looking at a magnaflow(Or is it magma?) muffler - they any good ? Bring on the pics and sounds plz !! Oh I forgot - Very nice choice with the Remus unit, the muffler looks good would love to see what that looks like on the 'rolla Russell

Well I know I managed to get the last one in WA. But I bought it mainly because it was NOT turbo charged, had 4 doors, leather, celica engine & gearbox and looks great. (Oh and is SO cheap !!) Closest thing I can see to it would be the Pug 307 Sport ($40k+) with a 2.0ltr engine. I would rather have my engine redline at 9000rpm than a huffer put on it ! Insurance is also really really cheap on the car as well ! (Could also be because it is a 'rolla) I have to say I am a Subaru fan through and through but there cars are so damn expensive to buy, own and run ! Regards Russell PS - The compressor looks good !

Wow thanks for all the replies !! Well I have one more question ;) To do with the engine (once again) is it possible to get the lift to kick in at 5000rpm or is that an after market computer job ? Thanks for the great advice on suspension/LSD setup have helped me heaps (And saved me alot of money!) Will check out that exhaust and try to find a CAI as well, wasn't going to go for more power but I guess it does not hurt ;) I am hoping that the exhaust will also make the car sound even better ! As for the toyota dealership I know for sure I will not be servcing my car there, can't wait till I get the satisfaction questionaire to fill out, I have a nice report to send to Toyota Aus. Hi all, Have had my 'rolla for one week now and loving it but have a few questions. (I tried asking these at the dealer but they did not seem too know much !) 9000rpm red line on the Sportivo is that only possible if you get a engine rebuild ? I thought they did hit 9000rpm but it seems to be only 8k :/ I remember hearing somewhere in North America with the Celicas being delimited at the dealership so they could hit 9000rpm. Where can you get TRD parts in Perth ? (Ok I know I might get a few people laughing at this ;P) Would also like to improve the handling a bit but I actually do like the ride height because I do not hit any of the concrete kerbs (Front spoiler JUST misses it) so I was thinking LSD + Sway Bars ? But how much does a LSD cost and I know there a different typesof LSD but I have no clue the differences. I am also wondering what the standard ECU is like for fuel/air mix, does the engine run rich or is it tuned quite well for fuel economy ? Also what size exhaust is standard in the Sportivo ? Is there any point in upgrading the zorst ? And finally LSD + Sway bars vs Coil overs what would be a better combo ? Thanks Regards Russell - N/A ALL THE WAY -
