  1. Ive seen alot of those signs aswell in country areas. I guess thats because of weather conditions, extra saftey, slow coaches and caution for tired drivers coming from the opposite direction.
  2. Which Head unit is Auto me?or are you refering to the Tom Tom Follow me ones (see attached)? if its the Genuine Toyota ones that come in the Grandes, there might be a way to adjust the touch screen sensitivity. Id take it to the dealer and windge since its happen again. Also, get someone else to try it aswell just to make sure it not your fingers :P
  3. Congrats man, im guessing you kinda wanted it to be a write off rather then having it fixed. Hopefully you get pretty decent money for the write off. The main thing is you didnt get hurt in the accident. If it was my car that was involved in an accident, id be pretty cut about it :(
  4. Atleast the noise is gone and the car drives well now :) Sorry to hear about the divorce man..... :( Hopefully things work out for you....
  5. Did 120,000 km Service... fuel Intector Service, replaced and machined new front brakes, New air con filter. Replaced faulty Data cable for the Kenwood Boot CD/MP3 Stacker..(under Kenwood Warranty) Tyre Rotation and wheel Alignment.
  6. Thats dissapointing....... Unless Toyota is keeping it quiet about the release......
  7. Iphone 5 should be releasing in 6-7 months time :)
  8. Have you got a pic of underneath the bonnet? From what i see in the pic its repairable. The damage looks close to the 6K-10K mark. So depending on the insurance company it may be a Repairable Write off... Hopfully you have agreed value insurance as the market value for 07 sx6 ranges around the 13K-20K mark (as per carsales)..
  9. Is your central locking button built in with the key or is it a seperate remote? if its built in to the key its over $200. Yaris keys have the central locking built in to the key. I have not received my car as yet so am not sure about the key--it has an immobilizer The immobiliser is also built into the Yaris key. It's just the one key with 2 buttons (unlock/lock). Which means the key is gonna be expensive... You can call Toyota and get the exact price...
  10. $400-$500 used. $900+ when brand new
  11. I normally get the Toyota Dealer to service the car. The Service Centre usually takes care of all that for me, at the service intervals :) Do you service the car yourself? or do you only do the oil change? I do oil and filter changes and also top up fluids. After five years of Toyota Service (the carhad five year extended warranty), I have decided to go to the dealer only of major services like timing belt, spark plugs and auto-transmission service only :) K8Canb Fair enough... The body kit looks pretty good on the gen 5's :)
  12. Its good to see you asking questions about cars for a change... Does your 89 model Camry have turbo? no it doesnt lol i just got rid off it recently. but im interested in the VW POLO 6R 66TDI Comfortline (which has turbo) Nice.... What does "EK"1 stand for?
  13. Is your central locking button built in with the key or is it a seperate remote? if its built in to the key its over $200.
  14. You should get two remotes, and in some cases 2 keys. you may need to call the dealer and ask them if they can get the keys made..
  15. pics look good.... :) I dont see myself in one though... I wouldnt take it for a test drive, if i do, then i know ill buy it LOL
  16. Those are Toyota Genuine Kappas. Come as an option or you can get them separately. I like the first and last one as well. They look good on the car though +1 both Kappa 17s and 18s look good on the car :) Tempe Tyres have great looking wheels, but personally (my own opinion) the "quality" of their wheels arent as good as they should be..
