so after a day at the track + ultra low ride height ive finally destroyed the inner front wheel guards. just the black plastic part. just wonder what are these call so when i ring toyota and ask them to fit new one i dont look like a D#%k. plus will raise it by 1/2 inch so doesnt scrape any more
I will be doing a nos kit mid October I've decided. anyone know how well the power fc can "control"/ handle it? besides ripping the bottom end apart and doing pistons ect what other things can i do to make it as safe as possible?? not sure if i will go for this kit. still looking
I have stage 3 piper cams, new valves and springs ported head with power fc and gain like 8kw atw from memory. total cost well over 3k mind you i'm sure i got riped on labour.
yeh got mwr valves and springs when i put the piper cams in. I though that Boosted2.0's intake manifold wasn't made for our cars? would look mean as in the engine bay though. what do you mean slap noise lol Ive always loved the sound you get from N/A with forged pistons sounds so tough. but im thinking it would be a labour intense job to put them in considering i was charged 4hr just to take the head off. probably overcharged!!! grrrrrr
I think the lower one was just a power run they did with the previous tune. i could be wrong. Dave whats you views on forged pistons would that give any noticeable gains?
Newest Dyno... Shows less kw's than the previous tune, but fells a ton quicker and very smooth power. very happy with the results :) would recommend Matt @ Pits to anyone in Brisbane. dyno.pdf
yeh i need to see them mine is in but cant get it to sit straight. i think that little hose get blocked off, you stick it into one of those things sticking out underneath. if you know what i mean???
