Spot on ;) What would be the difference? You can't run a full 3" intake without some sort of aftermarket ecu that can cope with the larger diameter. so having a PFC I'd be better off with 3" all the way?

For sale Pair 05 corolla sportivo headlights. looking for offers DIY painted surrounds - I was not happy with the results as i didnt use clamps to hold them together while the silicone as setting. still 100% water prof just look a bit ugly in the engine bay so Ive decided to get some new ones from Toyota. Will post pics tomorrow arvo. Cheers Dylan

Before the PFC not too much difference really just a little more midrage not sure on the rest. all question i will need to ask next time. new redline when i got the car was 8000 i changed it to 8500 :) just for fun

on the dyno it was at 6200rpm but i changed it myself to 5800 mid range yeh fells heaps quicker the tuned it from scratch, not this time around though to be honest if feels a lot stronger all round. i know numbers arnt everything but only 5kw extra peek is kind of sad?? or and i being unrealistic.

Hey Dave ive done stage 3 cams, port and polished heads mwr valves and mwr valve springs plus full service.

Just got back 15kw gained at the highest point but only 5kw more at the top... A little dissapointing to say the least.

picking up in the next hour or so. not sure on the total yet ill have to work it out as they were doing some other things for me as well ie. HID's but will let you know how much. and ill post the dyno sheet up on monday when i get to work. Plus will get the flow number sometime soon hopeful today if he is there. PS. really need SD's pfc harness

That's the plan. Does that fix all the problems? Are there any other known problems?

Hi All I've have had a Power FC in my zze123 face lift now for a few month now with a few small problems that i have finally had enough of. I'm sure most of this is covered in multiple other posts but though I could try to get a list of everyone's problems and or possible solutions in one place. I don't want a debate on other ECU's or reasons why this isn't suited to our cars. My Problems: 1. Original water temp gauge not working. 2. Thermo fan only working while A/C is on 3. Rough idle - intermittently - sometimes can bounce from 500rpm to 1900rpm on idle Any help and please keep on topic Cheers Dylan

i have a trd cai. the next thing i plan on doing is changing over to a CES one. im not sure on the performance between the two but surely it wouldnt be too different? either way they look heaps cooler. go to CES they make great products.

Dylan , i cant believe you still have money left over after the work on the Head you are getting done .. Good to see you are going all out .. Will expect pics and dyno results after all is done . only just hey but want to jazz the engine bay up a lil. just got to find a braille battery

Hey Dylan , what was the total cost of the job ? I live in NSW but currently visiting relos in Sunnybankhills ,might pay these guys a visit.. How many K's had your engine done before the work done on it ? i haven't picked it up yet so not sure of the total cost plus there is a few other little bits and pieces 999 are doing for me. The car has 55,000 km if your in the area i think they may be tuning it tomorrow so you could have a look. thanks , might drop in tomorrow if i go up that way .. My car has 142xxx km hence the Q about ks. I will need to get work done on it at some stage so knowing the costs help. If you do happen to drop in and its on the dyno see if you can take a few pics or even a video for me ;) lol . i will try if i happen to rock up when all this is happening but not too sure if they will just let some bloke in the workshop taking photos especially when i'm not the owner .. Maybe whilst i'm at it i should ask for a Test Drive as well ?? haha yeh give it a try.
