  1. 2 posts in 24 hours? banks going to hate me! my mates selling his koyo drift teks and i need to know if there even going to fit. i read a post recently about someone's tire dilemma but my question is pre straight forward. koyo drift teks 17x8 with +34 offset 215/45 front set & 225/45 rears (he drove a silvia henve the rwd flare ha) Im pretty sure they'll fit, ive searched around the forums and people recommend a +30 offset or more so yeah. just double checking! Dixon
  2. be interesting if someone could whip a DIY floating roof for ya car's fuel cell haha thanks for sharing, my regular fuel pump is slow enough as it is on high speed let alone low..but im still gunna try it xD
  3. so ive been wanting to do it for a while now and i finally bought myself a short shifter for the rolla :) i want a new gear knob as well just for a different shifting feel in my hand. i know TWM sells a wide range of threaded gear knobs but there soooooo expensive =c can anyone recommend me a website that sells threaded gear knobs? im in hervey bay QLD and the range of auto parts shops are limited to about autobarn haha there's two gear knobs that caught my eye at autobarn but i wanna know if anyone has a website just for this stuff :) Dixon
  4. why is this in the group buy thread? ha *face palm*
  5. Its prolly one of the most sought after items on here imho and your all probably sick to death of people asking haha but if you never ask you never find out! :) Ill pay for postage anywhere from within Australia. Im on qld coast :D Dixon
  6. oh so pink wont draw to much attention?! :P and i wanna go gloss black but the price difference between powdercoat and gloss will be massive per wheel so maybe down the track, ill do it myself! :D but forsure ill throw some before and afters up :)
  7. awesome :D thanks kenshin, cant wait for monday to roll around, ill throw some pics up after its all done
  8. kenshin your one to talk bro you repin lime's! hahaha but seriously, im in qld and 3 hours north of birsbane so i dunno how much the small businesses here are gunna charge me :s oh and if theres and gutter rash, (i have a tinsy bit on one wheel) will they buff it out? Dixon
  9. hey guys, so before anyone says use the search button, I DID, but failed ha. so basically i went to the local sandblaster and apparently they shut at 3pm on a friday the slackers. so in the meantime till i get a quote monday can anyone tell me how much (approximately) it will cost to color my rims? there just stock sportivo rims but i think they'll look lush either red or black :D Dixon
  10. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-COROLLA-SPORTIVO-2003-ZZE123R-WHEELNUTS-WRECKING-/200598252858?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eb4966d3a check this out?
  11. So tuesday night i managed to snap my gear selector cable which considering my current financial status..was rather distressing haha. I got my car back today after slow freight and with 20 minutes till shop shutup for the long weekend (phew!). $482 later my stivo literally feels like im driving a new car :o i couldnt believe it this afternoon. The gear changes are extremely crisp and far more direct it feels. Can anyone tell me as to how the cable broke? i dont thrash my car by any means but i do get lazy with gear shifts and unintentionally grind my gears from time to time :| it just doesnt make sense to me as to why the cable selector would be the first to go rather than the clutch or gearbox (thank christ it neither of them went!) oh and the bloke at racq told me that the last remaining gear selector cable is now in my car! for future reference peoples the japanese warehouses which held parts and stock for import have been destroyed by the recent earthquakes....so finding any parts that arent currently stocked in australia is going to be a serious mission! 0_o im only relaying what i was told this afternoon Dixon
  12. why could you have put this up a month ago! im so poor and just lost an auction on another grille =C rego's a biacth
  13. holy jesus! i come back to the forums after few days and i find epic domestic going on. and charlietrout wtf was that! hahahahaha that made me laugh so much =D kenshin let loose bro ;)
  14. hey alf, yeah the TWM one is the most preferred i believe but i just think there trying to get as much money out of you as possible. 20 bux for bushing and another 20 for base bushing? the MWR short shifter has them included for half the price! i email'd MWR about height reduction, but they never replied :c
  15. 4 inches on a rolla? lolwut and where you situated? just wondering on postage
  16. yeah ive researched a fair bit on the short shifters on throughout the forums. and ive driven my mates civic with integra b16 motor conversion and its got the tiniest short shifter on it and i loved it. my rolla shifter it massive in comparison and if im gunna spend money i may as well buy something i actually want. and the MWR is hella expensive if i can remember? >300 dollars?
  17. with any ebay seller they just tell me what i wanna hear :| if i ask will it fit a rolla sportivo they'll probs just say yup, fits no worries. but yeah ill ask them what the height reduction is. hopefully its a lot shorter

  20. the TRD S/S height reduction is minimal. the TWM one has a height reduction of 2 inches or something. so if your after a 'shorter' shifter, the TMR one is the go. can someone confirm the TWM height reduction? i may be thinking of monkey wrench one -_-
  21. hey dweebz, umm no didnt need to take front bumper off. i could have to put the pod filter on to make it that much tighter but no wasnt necessary :D and after ripping everything out (there was surprisingly alot! you just need to finesse it in. i had a mate with me and i couldnt have doen it without him cus there was a lot of forcing and pushing to get the intake into the throttle body hose connector.
  22. go here mate http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showuser=20889 he will have more intakes in august if im not wrong. i bought mine off him :)
