its surprising what increasing the air intake into your motor can do hey. and if youve ever been to hervey bay? (besides fraser island) than the road i was driving on was just out of town :) and JESUS! second video was awesome, really enjoyed that haha soon as i saw the tread pattern i thought 'this will be good' :P and that tunnel is in brissy isnt it? ive been through a VERY similar one (with one passenger :D) and dumped it in second ha good sound!

i got mine off another forum member (sammy 926). brands HPS, i dont even know if its a reputable brand haha but im replacing the pod with a K&N. im not fussed one way or another about the piping itself because its just metal, won't differ. i paid 180 with postage

very true! i didnt read the specs, there was a few bids on it but, hate to buy a stivo and hav a motor replacement hahaha

hey guys :) installed new intake on the weekend and for my first mod (hopefully not the last either :D ) and it was surprisingly easy. here's some photo's of it installed, although im a little bummed i didnt take some before and afters because it has opened my engine bay up ten fold now, its crazy how much space the stock air box took up! here's a small video i made to demonstrate the audio of the air intake (please leave a like? helps alot!) i have vaseline on my battery so chill haha we couldnt move the pipe any more towards the throttle body so theres a slight kink in the rubber :\ i tried researching this as to what im to do with this plug as i removed its female connector along with several other hoses during installation but what are we to do with this plug now?! no engine lights are on, car runs fine. just seems odd to leave it hanging there i peeled the tire guard back to take a snap, pods sitting well away from the fog light :D other than the brown plug and awkward rubber joints im extremely happy with the end result. a fair few people have purchased short throw shifters off monkey wrench. I email'd them about it and there kit only reduces shifter height marginally :| all good feedback about the site if thats what your worried about :)

I have a FS thread and I'm selling an official Toyota Accessories Sportivo Grille (not to be confused with a Corolla Sportivo). Have a look and you'll know what I mean. Im on my phone and can't exactly view ya thread mate, but willnit fit a 03 corolla sportivo? Im not certain what a Toyota accessories grille is :|

Hey forum :) i know theres ALOT of generic front grilles on ebay and ive found a MWR shifter that im keen on buying BUT i thought i would check if anyone has these items because i would much rather give my money to an aussie rather than some US company :) oh and i drive 03 corolla sportivo 123 pre sure Any links or feedback would be great! i had a look at it this morning and it feels like theres a plastic frame that the boot is stitched around that clips into the centre consol? am i able to transplant this plastic frame or would a knew product come pre fitted with the frame? oops. Forgot to add another sentence. The boot will come out from the underside of the consol, to then be lifted over the shifter. ok so that all sounds great but will the new boot you purchase come with the 'frame' in it already? sorry for being annoying lol

Hey guys, just curious if its possible to replace the gear boot cus mines starting to deteriorate something fierce. theres tons on ebay etc but im yet to find a tutorial on how to replace one. Has this topic been covered before or am i alone in wanting to do this? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Dixon :D

hey mate wouldnt have a clue if you know this but if the car was in a serious crash it would have been recorded. https://www.service.transport.qld.gov.au/vehicleinformationcheckQt/Welcome.jsp we do it every time before buying a car. PLUS it tells u if theres any outstanding fines on the car hope it helps. just read around that website. theres others like it but its government website so id say it the most reliable?

ahh just a heads up. check dimensions of the DD unit cus mine didnt fit! and the shroud off ryda is a waste of money

wow thanks so much dude. you actually took a picture just for my thread? haha feel so privileged :P. so with the brackets that the kit come with, does it sit further back into the dash than the stock? it looks like its sitting deep to me :)
