Had a thought too, the differing opinions of underwriters. However none of their decisions are opinionated I don't think, they are all driven by their guidlines. Or are they?

We were in the same boat when it came to the NRMA corey. I haven't had a single point lost or driving infringement for 4 years though not too sure about you :P haha The reason I hate the NRMA is their stupidity in their admin. I was uninsured when I thought I was. A-holes. There's also the fact that their ride height limit is 30mm (you're lower than that aren't you corey?) otherwise you're voided. I think that's stupid as well. So I guess I have valid reasons for bagging the NRMA. They have my father as a member for 30 years and they STILL treated me like sh!t. Screw them lol.

As Jimmy said i'm still tossing up this idea. I'm afraid my 'muscle car' fanatic father will see what I've done to the car and whack me over the head, calling me a w@nker lol. I was comtemplating painting the bonnet gloss black, also half the eyelids to match it, and also the trd grille that I have. My car is red, I thought it'd look nice and aggressive. Still thinking though.

mate give them a call and confirm this. as like i said i rang them and there was no "vehicle excess" on my policy because it was a sportivo ..... its just a phone call away ..... I did the same. Once again guys it varies from person to person in my belief. Shannons were complete nobs to me and told me they wouldn't insure me because the Sportivo wasn't an 'enthusiast' car...wtf???

This is probably the reason why I'm not on here so much anymore guys. It's hard when you're friendly with mostly everyone on here and they start ripping each other apart :(

Do a search for 'NRMA' They are a pack of idiots. They lost me for good when I found out that my payment never went through to them, so in effect I was uninsured when I thought I was. They never informed me. I recieved the policy and everything, but apparently if I had an accident they would NOT have covered me. That's low. Just Car gave me the best deal I could get, but that's just me I guess. It does vary between persons and their driving experience/record etc. PS: My own father is with the NRMA and has been for 36 years and they still overlooked that. Be wary in the future.

That's perfectly normal Dyl. My godfather is a distributor for Castrol, has been for 4 decades so if I was ever going to trust anyone it'd be him lol. I was worried as well when I first saw it. That's just the oil doing it's job apparently.

If it's in relation to the way the oil looks when it comes out Dylan that's perfectly normal. Edge is very very light in colour, which made me think for a second. However the Royal Purple stuff looks weird as well and it's probably the some of the best stuff you can get. It's not usually 'that' cheap either. Around $69 when I bought it.

Zee, the corolla finally met one of these things this morning. Black one, SSR 18's on it as well, different muffler. Was giving it a bit of a fang too. We were side by side at a set of lights turning right, with me in the outside lane. Both took off sedatley, opened the 2zz up to 5,000rpm and left it there. I floored it on the straight, so did he. His gear changes weren't the best and he was slowly creeping ahead of me @ 120km/h until he had to stop and get behind me to turn left. He didn't look happy lol. The MPS is probably better in your capable hands though Zee :) I was impressed though...very hehe. It hammers.

Charms where did you find that pic? That was taken just before it was sold. 'Ivan' I think his name was, owned the wagon. It had a 2.4L 160rwkw motor in it. The thing flew. Skylines? He killed them in a straight line unless they were really worked lol.

They said nothing about that to me. Wasn't stated on my insurance policy either. I'll check and make sure when the renewal come though thanks mate. Mine is $1350 a year w. coilovers, brace etc covered. I thought that was good. EDIT: Doesn't make sense why they would do that. They didn't do it to me. I've had a clean driving record for 4 years (yep...4 years lol) and only ever had one accident when I was 17 (I'm 23 now). I guess that helps me a bit when insurance comes around.
