  1. ANOTHER DUCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Yes well, it would appear the old 'Suckometer' is turned up qwuite haigh with Jones, as he continues to suck very hawd here at the WEKKA. There's no real end in sight for thus sucking to stop Bull" "Exactly right Tony. Hah hah hah! He's pretty much gone and made the decision to suck before coming out to Straya with that sort of attitude hah hah! He's had trouble holding his own Jones. On the other hand he probably holds it a bit too often Tony hah hah hah hah! Never got his hand off it in fact HaH HaH! Got him yes! hah!"
  2. Aren't you running 205/40 though Pete? That's probably way too low a profile to have anyway, BUT it's good for clearance etc. I'm going 215/40.
  3. Something like this as an example. Karen (red sportivo here in canberra) has these in 18 inch on hers, looks fantastic on a 50mm drop.
  4. Bren your post reminded me of the time I saw that jet powered Donut King van at Summernats: "Fire it up mate!" - Some kid "What? Do you want to get burnt or something????" - Bloke driving the van lol
  5. The Aussies already have the Warney Brigade lol. They are better than the barmy army. There's nothing better than a bunch of drunk aussie guys wearing green and gold (some dying their hair blonde) chanting and bowing to Warne all day lol.
  6. 10W/40? Thought that'd be a bit thick man. Hmm. well I'm changing mine again soon so I'll try that. No probs with cold starts?
  7. Interesting thread. It says what 'nationality'. Thing is, we're all the same nationality lmao. We're all Australian citizens. What 'background' am I? I'm part dutch. Does my heritage matter to me? A little. Point is that i'm Australian, nothing else, and I'm proud to be it :D
  8. That's easy. Methenol! How would methanol run in the sportivo's? or would it do damage? I wasn't being serious mate. Methenol is usually reserved for motors with that much work done to them that they run down the drag strip at great speed lol, AND require parachutes to stop them haha.
  9. I think there would be an increase across the range yeah. I've looked at what truely balances out the motor (when it comes to driveability, not just power) and it still seems to me that s/c is better bang for buck if you're factoring in response etc, not just brute power. That's just from what I've seen and read up on. Could be different opinions :)
  10. *Salivates at the idea of wide as power band, 50:50 weight distribution and train track handling*
  11. She was earning on average $150K a year :o so she she could comfortably splurge on that car haha. Oh yeah now your rims. Honestly m'dear I think you should get what ever YOU want to get. www.stgeorgetyres.com.au www.ozzytyres.com.au www.toptentyres.com.au Have a browse and just see what you like. What size are you after? Still 17's? You can go 18x7.5 comfortably if you want, the ride is a little bumpier but not by much (mick0082 here in canberra is running 18's on 225/35/R18 tyres [in lehmans terms that's a nice comfy tyre basically, firm but cushy still]). 18 x 7.5 WILL NOT SCRUB ON A 35 or 50MM DROP. You already have a 35mm drop as I remember you telling me on msn. THEY WON'T SCRUB lol. Don't let any wheel place tell you they will because they won't. As long as you get the 18x7.5 size you'll be fine :D this is of course if you're going 18's. Note: 18's in fact do scrub, but only if you're insane like Danz, Northy, Bangn etc and ride 100mm from the ground LOWWWRIDER lol. That's like a 65 - 70mm drop tho. Happy hunting!!!
  12. Hmmm. Could be too much of a drama maybe. Because i'm keeping this car (sentimental reasons) I'm going to be supercharging (or something similar) in the distant future and throwing some aftermarket goodies into the motor to compliment the modification. I'd be looking at something really driveable and good for everyday use PLUS it eliminates the lag gap between 1,000rpm to 6,000rpm (clutch activated boost @ 7.5psi). I'm thinking that if you're going to spend money on the motor you may as well go whole hog and get that little bit extra. Could be expensive just to up the compression with different pistons etc. Was thinking of doing this when the motor needed a recondition. May as well throw a little more money at it if it's going to be a keeper. Micky_tee's old man seems to be quite the master at these things tho Nik. PM him and see what he says :)
  13. Given that he did conceptual sketches prior to hardening in edges I'd say he has done this in freehand and didn't trace it. If he was tracing the edges would have been etched in straight away. He's a classic old school meets new school conceptual artist. Combines freehand sketching with CAD.
  14. Obviously you STILL didn't read the first post. <_< Nominations do not close till Friday the 22nd December and till then we don't know how many and who so please save your fingers from typing and put them to work doing something usefull like washing your car :P "The fox is quick and nimble, yet the badger's hamster style proves true through wisdom and respect of teacher" ahhhh sawwwwww
  15. I saw him as well Jimmy when driving to Ozzy Tyres in Fyshwick Name: Phillip Ruddock Fame: Attorney General When: 2 Weeks ago Where: Sensations Doing: Rooting his career away. Pardon the pun.
  16. My ex (works in real estate) spent $70,000AU on her Skyline. The thing was a weapon and she knew how to handle it lol. Some girls don't need to be told what to buy for their cars hehehehe. Nothing revved me up more than watching her handle that thing as well :D
  17. Stage 1 of Christmas meet begins today :P Stage 1: Everyone list when they are available (ie: on holidays) Ok I'll start: 20th of December to the 3rd of January. Should be available between 20th to 24th and 26th to the 29th of December. Display of interest: 1. bADbOYz lol
  18. Really? I reckon it's looks narly. The paint scheme is probably the only thing I'd change really.
  19. Well i'll put it this way George. I'm niceboyz outside of the bed
  20. I said it before and I'll say it again. Some girls DO want nice guys. Otherwise I'd have gotten no-where and met skanks :D
  21. Everyone is different. If I was an ar5ehole and a prick I wouldn't have be going out with my gf atm. In my case it does pay to be nice. I was just myself, and I'm happy now.
  22. Bahaha. You champion lol. I see potential in those things that's all. The potential to be a very nice all-rounder (awesome weight/distribution, power-weight, ability to handle far greater with suspension mods etc etc). I'd only ever get a rotary with ecu support. At least it's got 'some' management then to keep it stable. Uh oh I used the words 'rotary' and 'stable' in the same sentence
