  1. it is stupidly loud... its like a race pipe but deeper...and the muffler isnt really a muffler its straight through, i.e. not baffled.... i know.. i use to have one B) not to mention it looks pretty ricer too yep another vote for insanely loud, danthuyer had one on his car and it was rediculos... I have balls, I'm keen still lol. Hey Brian, just out of curiousity the Spec III is about the same level of noise as the magnaflow huh?
  2. I'm in talks with someone currently who is about to have their corolla used as a testing ground for custom kits (PROPER kits...made out of decent materials). I'll keep you posted. I'm probably grabbing the bomex kit next year. Painted and fitted I'd be looking @ $2,500 BUT...and I say BUT...all you have to do is look at the kit and you cream yourself instantly. Very very aggresive looking and it's made out of abs, really good stuff that flex's well. Abs is the shiznit when it comes to materials. Note: The Supra off Fast and the Furious 1 is using a bomex kit, note that when it launches just in front of the train scene in the end, it slams on the front end. It flexes and just pops back to normal ;)

  5. It wasn't turning into a CES vs Non CES arguement I think. People simply percieved it would. I myself was only pointing out that with the TRD headers they become even better with internal work to back it. They are fine stock. The CES headers are better suited to a stock setup fair enough. I've known that porting the stock headers and treating them has been the better option for yonks on a stock setup (thanks to the boys in the States and also my Irish mate) so that's why I'm having it done myself. The thread may have been fine because there are people on here that still think with a level head.

  8. Ask mate, I recommend that to you as well seriously. I'm never taking my car back to toyota to be serviced anyway. I'm over it, especially after being enlightened by xoom. Warranties mean sweet bugger all. Get all the problems ironed out of your car warranty wise, then you've used up the usefulness of it. It's a sales tool, nothing more. I should know, I used to sell them with computers at Harvey Norman. The benefits of the bolt on NIKICH is the fact that 'if' you are defected (which we shouldn't be...it's not stupidly loud until up top...then again so is the stock one) you can just pop the stock back on. Can't see that happening though. They pick on cannons usually, not actual mufflers.

I'd be happy to drive up to the gong and have it done with you one weekend or something if that also makes it easier price wise (don't care about petrol, the drive will be good lol).     2zz is the Sportivo motor man. They are making 108kw stock at the wheels and they are rated @ 141kw at the flywheel. The 1zz would require some internal work (cams etc) an aftermarket computer to achieve 100kw atw without forced induction. Weighing it up you have to consider whether it's worth it in the end to achieve that small goal, because it would cost a fair bit. Save up for the 350Z man. If you want true power that's one car to start with ;) PS: I've seen 350Z's with turbo upgrade kits completely annihilate Evo9's etc. Just ask BigBum lol.

  17. The Beaver system had greater gains over the Meerkat system. Saying that, it now makes -10kw instead of -19kw lmao.
  18. Hey I'm happy. I have my awesome car, my family, friends and my pet gopher. It's all good. Never really bitched about anything huge on here at all to be honest
